OK..OK...even though Joshua said I had ordered our Nana shirts...I hadn't:confused3 ...But...I just ordered them now.....we WILL be a part of the Nana's this year:banana:

Cool and raining in eastern Pa today....had to turn off the fans :woohoo: ...but never fear...summer is still here...will be hot and humid in a few days...back to the 90's according the the weather channel:sad2:

Have a great day...

Oh my!!... I want an official door magnet:banana:   will there be a new one for us???
I plan to make several official drinks on Saturday and book at midnight- guess I have better write it all down in case the nanas go to my head!!!!!:lmao:
Back to work....
Judy

Ok....here's the recipe I was supposed to post yesterday.

2 oz. Malibu Banana Rum
1 oz. vanilla vodka (we used Stoli)
splash of amaretto
splash of grenadine for color
Woo just had it chilled but I bet it could be an awesome frozen drink as well

I'm on it..................

DS sick yesterday, up ALL night or at least it felt like all night. Up every 30 min for the first three hours, about once an hour thereafter. He's been alright since about 7:30 am. I on the other hand.....................:sad2:

Glad to hear the door signs can be made in a variety of ways. That takes some pressure off.

Jeff-I'm with you. It's the little things, the little details that not only vary each trip but really make Disney stand out. On trips like our next one, when the parks aren't as crowded, we like to take our Hidden Mickey book. You really get to see parts of the park and notice things you wouldn't normally see while rushing about. DS also plays VMK and so we always do a quest. Those are really neat as they give you lots of "inside Trivia". Glad you had a great time.

Off to take a nap while DS watches High School Musical II for the 10th time since we recorded it:guilty:

Here is my first attempt at posting a photo. It's a pic of the tree house hubby is building for Jason. It's taking waaaay longer than he thought but that's because of all the detail work. I keep telling him that it's not a tree house...it's an apartment on a tree!! When it's all finished it will have electricity and cable. I may have to charge rent!

A giant oak tree in our backyard had to be cut down last year because it was beginning to die at the top. Instead of cutting the stump all the way down to the ground we had the tree service leave about 15 feet so the house could be built on top of it. It was sad to see the tree come down but it kind of gave new life to it.

OMG! That worked!! Look out everyone, now I can post photos!!

Here are some shots of my new Disney office. They were taken before the computer was moved into the room and before all the items were on the bookcases. I still don't have any artwork on the walls but it's on the list of things to do. I don't think the photos show it, but the bookcases have Mickey cutouts on the corners on each shelf. They are adorable!!

Glad to see you're back, Sharon....hope the rains didn't soak you too badly.

It's still raining here....day number three....but we didn't flood. Knock on wood. The ground is completely saturated but there's no standing water anywhere. Geez, a few weeks ago we were begging for rain and now it seems that it won't ever stop!

Sharon....thats an incredible treehouse. I wish I had that kind of engineer and construction ability. I love the Disney office too. The Disney Co. needs to see our skill and creativity on the northcoast too. Maybe they'd put a park up here for us.

Kim, I hope your son feels better....and go take a nap, for petes sake.

Oh...this was one of the door signs I created for last year-its the only one I may recycle to use for this year.

Just in case you're wondering, this (above example) is why we don't carve pumpkins at Halloween anymore. I'd be making the standard square-eyes-triangle-nose-1-tooth-smile, while Bill was carving a 3D replica of the Mona Lisa ... :sad2:

I wanted to use a taxi...anyone know how much this would cost?? I think I looked at the info Kathy posted and it is around $80.00...does this seem right??
\

I guess I just kind of assumed that a taxi was the most expensive way to go?

I looked into Budget but because we need 2 car seats it adds to the cost and I think we're so close to the cost of renting a towncar that I'm thinking about doing that instead. Either that or Arts Shuttle. Anyone done Arts Shuttle?

Kathy- Hope your puppy is doing okay.

I'm not sure if I'll have time to do magnets or not. I have a whole magazine to design before the cruise!! But I'd be sure to put one up if we do group magnets!

I assume YOU are Mickey with the sword...

I will be decorating my door this year. On our last cruise my DH thought I was crazy for decorating it but he soon realized we weren't the only ones plus it made it really easy to find our room. I'm not that creative either but I will try to do a better job this year:-)

This was my door on my first cruise:

WILLIAM! The Mega Millions is $171 million tonight! That's like ... calculating ... drinks on the ship each cost $5-$7 ... veranda room for 2 at $3000 ... excusions ... calculating ... THAT'S A LOT OF CRUISES, FUN AND DRINKS! Go buy tickets!

Now we need to decide if we want to rent or have a car service pick us up...convenience vs. cost savings.

This is the same decision I'm trying to make! I'm leaning towards convenience.

Great Photos. The treehouse is really neat! My boys would love that when they get a little older. Do you deliver?

Sharon...amazing tree and and I love  your office.

Kathy, hope pup is OK, keep us posted.

I assume YOU are Mickey with the sword...

:rotfl: I thought the same thing :rotfl:

Photo of the day:

This is of the lagoon at Channukab Park (sp?) in Cozumel in 2005. It is before the hurricane hit Cozumel. I wonder if it got hit again this week?

Howdy all,
all the photos are great.
Sharon,
love the office and tree house. I'll bet it will be NO girls allowed when it is done.:lmao:

The vet just called and Pixie came through just fine. we can pick her up at 4:30 so they can keep an eye on her.
I got to stay with her during her exam this morning and she was growling and getting nasty with them. so I had to put a muzzle on her. I did rub her ears and talk to her to calm her. She was in my lap the entire time.

Then after i left they took the muzzle off and said she was really friendly to everyone both before and after the surgery. They said she was being protective of me when strangers were near and that is why she was growling earlier and attempting to snap at them.
I never thought of it that way, I just thought she was afraid of them and being in a strange place.

Poor Minnie, she has been laying around all day. She wont eat or drink, just lays there looking at the door waiting for Pixie to come home. She doesnt realize she wont get to place rough with her when she gets home tongiht.

This will be a challenge to keep them quiet for the first night.

well off to have lunch,,

keep those great photos coming!!

kathy
