S & T

You guys know I am here and watching. This party really needs to get going....but you are right, we need to get Jason out.

How about it Jason, you ready yet?

BTW Lion King was great as was Carmines!
(like my BTW lingo...still don't know how to do the smiley face thingies)

Michael

PS Kitchen is going great. Will most likely finish in a couple of weeks, just waiting for the granite to come in.

Michael is out of hiding, yeah!!!:cool1: Glad to hear you enjoyed the Lion King, me and Ken saw it a few years ago. Sounds like you are moving right along on the kitchen, good job.

Michael's in the house!!!! (the one without a kitchen!!) We're waiting for you to start the party!!:cheer2:

Hey Teresa~ They went to Carmines without us! Bet it wasn't the same! (especially without all that food we get!!)

Michael~ As far as those smilies....just click on the pictures to the right when you're typing. If you need a broader selection hit the "more" button. I think it's easy enough for an engineer to handle. :rolleyes1

Once that kitchen is done we need to schedule something! I'm missing you guys too much!!!! Lucky for me I get a little fix next Saturday!!!

Bye!!!
jason....where are you?? :rolleyes1

Hey all!
Okay....did you guys cruise together before? ;) I want in on this party!!!:yay:

Question for anyone....
My friend is linked with our ressie. Do both rooms need to be paid in full by 75 days out to make our Palo ressies etc???:confused3

Yes we have all cruised together and what a party it is........you are more than welcome to join the party.:cool1:  :drinking1

I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question.

Greetings to my fellow 2006 Jersey Week cruisers. Glad to see everyone's doing well and that we are getting close enough to November that Michael is permitted to post. I've been busy planning my family's August trip to WDW and just switched our ressies from the Poly to the Beach Club. Never stayed there before, but have heard good things. Its always fun picking where to eat and making our dining reservations.

My group for our cruise just increased by one person for a total of 20 people!! My DW's 89 year old grandmother is now joining us. I'm responsible for every aspect of this trip for each person in my group from air to hotels to transportation to excursions and everything in between. The pressure is on. We haven't booked our air yet ... still waiting for Spirit Airlines in Atlantic City or Southwest in Philly to release November dates. I've been checking every day for 2 months and still nothing. The thought of driving to FL from NJ with 4 kids is enough to keep me up at night. Come on airlines ... I need some help!

Can someone please remind me when repeat cruisers can book Palo, excursions, etc.? I know you need to be paid in full in order to do so, but can't remember if its 90 days or some other time frame? Does anyone have the actual date calendered? (What am I saying ... this is the DIS, I'm sure most of you already have the date calendered.)

Oh, I think you are right...I believe it is 90 days....I have no Idea where I got 75???

So it's Jersey week were you all met! Well, we weren't there but DH is from Jersey (Tuckerton) and I lived there for 4 years after college (Toms River and Barnegat)...that's gotta count for something!

I too am waiting for Southwest rates....I am hoping they are cheaper than the other rates I have seen!

Jason, have you checked USAIR out of Philly? That's who we went with and not a bad rate either.

ok Jason...while Michael is missing you I'm going to have an extremely difficult time hearing any pre cruise trip to the World. It's simply not fair!! NOw I see why the both of you get along so well. You do all the planning and the "dis'in" while the wives sit back and have everything taken care of! Hey Teresa~ THat's why we get along so well too right?;)

I'm trying to figure out a way to get another trip in before we go in November but the word "Budget" keeps ringing in my head! Oh well hopefully next year.

Good luck with your airfare. WE really lucked out getting 4 tickets for under $700 and that's flying home first class! See how I made the "budget" word worked there!

Have a good night!

Jason, greetings.
I am thinking there needs to be a "boys" night out on this cruise. I have no problem starting this because Cathe never reads these boards. Maybe we can meet in merrick for siome ice cream. Let me know when you will be out my way.

Suzy Mouse/Love 2 travel - we could always meet in the Disney store in NYC and that will be our pre cruise trip to the world.

Sounds like this party is gaining some speed...

Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards and to cruising! This will be our first cruise ever. The "party" consists of DH and myself, our three kids -- DS age 10, DS age 8, and DD age 5 (all ages are cruise time), and my MIL and FIL.

I know my son(s) would love to meet up with people. DS10 is into video games, soccer, basketball, etc. and very friendly. DS8 will be a little shy meeting people but also loves sports and video games.

Other than booking the cruise, I haven't done anything yet. I have a feeling reading this board is going to make me panic!

Welcome!:welcome: I also have a son who will be 10 at cruise time and loves video games and all sports! My daughter will be 13 at cruise time. These boards are great and very educational! I learn something new every time I log on!:goodvibes

macassi ~ Welcome aboard!! We've got an amazing group of people here that you're going to have fun with. My DS will be 9 at the time of the trip and loves the things your son is interested in!

Michael...see now I'm really having a difficult time here! First you don't come out of your "lurking" mode for quite some time and now that you're HERE finally, you're ready to pull all the boys away from us! Howard and Cathe remain in the "I don't DIS" boat..so good luck gettin him in on the action! I'm pretty sure that he'll be missing a Rutgers football game here during that week so if you're planning on a boys night out that's the night you'll be able to find him attached to the tv in the bar!

As far as the pre cruise trip?? I'm weighing it here....Disney :confused3 Disney store NYC...The store just won't do it for me!!:sad2: I'm thinking that Jason's used to a huge party..he won't mind us crashing his trip..it's just the funding issue I'm trying to figure out!

Macassi - Welcome to you and your family! If you have questions, just ask.

I'm ok with a guys night out, but that just means that the girls get to have a night out also. :yay: :dance3: :cheer2:

Howard asked what you had in store for the men!

Teresa...I'm thinking more of a shopping excursion for the ladies!!

Watching a football gamewould be fine.

Taking a day off from work to paint and wait for the new appliances to come.

Welcome!! And don't panic! Enjoy the planning!!

I finally feel a sense of relief! I booked our airfare, car rental and hotel this week, so now we're all set until payment is due and ressies can be made. I have been watching airfare and over the last few weeks it just keeps creeping up. I paid more than I anticipated, but I had some vochures (in the end paid $1059 from the northeast). We'll be flying out on the 20th staying at Pop two nights, going to MK on the 21st (either for the day or for the Christmas Party if there is one that night) and then driving out to the port on Sat. Now, I can enjoy the rest of my planning!

Anyone else planning to go ahead to spend some time in the parks?

Welcome Macassi. I have a 7.5 year old DS who loves his video games and baseball. He absolutely loves the kids club, especially when it involves computer time or time up on the sports deck! I also have a 5 year old DD who loves the clubs as well.
