:thumbsup2 How many are going? You might have 3 to 5 more - me, DH, DS12, MIL, SIL21. :goodvibes My SIL will be totally "LEGAL" and I can't wait to buy her first Konk Cooler. It's not set in stone, but we have a couple of cabins on hold. :wizard: Send that PD that this will all work out that the in-laws can join us. Weird as it sounds I actually love my in-laws dearly.

:welcome: :wizard: I hope you'll be able to cruise with us.

BTW, I have a 12 year old DS also.

Is anyone ordering the new Passporter when it comes out in March?? I have the 2007 edition and wonder if it worth getting the new one??? I figure it will have lots of info on the Western cruise destinations but may not have any new info for our cruise...
Any thoughts??:confused3

I was wondering if anyone sailing is from Central Virginia - Richmond area? That's where I hail from. :thumbsup2

I might have my DS and her family coming along - that would be another 4 people. They hail from New Hampshire.

What are you guys doing in Costa Maya? Any thoughts? We're thinking about staying onboard since nothing is striking our fancy.

We are from NJ. We plan to stay onboard in Costa Maya and enjoy the ship.

If it's warm enough, maybe we'll get out and swim in the pool in the shopping area at the port. I need to check the excursions and see if any are good with a 2-year old. We're very limited in what we can do with a toddler.

My family and some friends are going on that cruise:cool1: We always wanted to try a double dip! I am 13 and i am looking for some new friends on that cruise! can you help me? We met dutchgirlscout and her family family on the cruise! And a few other families! They are all real nice:)

bingbing 3 - You might want search this thread to get an idea about other kid's ages that are going. You're old enough for the teen room. :thumbsup2 My DS will still be 12 so he's going to miss out on that. He's mostly interested in video games and very shy so I don't know what kind of company he'd be. I'm sure there are others around your age going. Maybe send the parents a PM listing the kids your age (but only after you clear it with your parents first!) to see if you begin chatting with them before you guys ever set sail.

I think I'm going to check into zip lining in Cozumel. That's something most of our family is interested in and it would be something different.

The only DCL excursion I found with a zip line is called Four Elements - A Mayan Adventure. Do you know of any excursions that are simply zip lines?

Thanks for telling BingBing to clear it with her parents! I'm her mom, and I didn't even know she had posted!;) She loves getting to know people before we cruise. She has a great friend (hi, dutchgirlscout and family!) that we met on one of our last cruises that will also be on this one. There were four girls, and I think they will all be on this cruise as well. We're looking forward to it!

BTW--I just about died when I read what she has under her signature--MY FAMILY HAS GONE ON A LOT OF CRUISES and PROUD Of IT--:scared1:. Sorry if that came off as snooty--she just loves her cruises!:lmao:

We're going to Zipline in Hawaii over spring break. I'll let you know how it is when we get back. My family has always wanted to try it.

My DS is 12, totally into video games, and also kind of shy. Is your DS interested in getting to know other kids before the cruise?

Is the pool still there? I know most of the port was demolished by hurricane Dean last year. Just wondering what it's going to be like after they rebuild it. I've never been there before, but I've seen (pre-hurricane) pictures and it looked really nice.

I don't think DisneyCruise.com has any excursions listed for Costa Maya yet.

We want to do some kind of ruins excursion. I'm not sure which is a better place to do it, Costa Maya or Cozumel.

I'm sure my son would love to meet someone via the internet before the cruise. My son is also into video games as well as basketball. He spends most of his time playing basketball on the ship. He never gets on the computer but might if he knew someone was going to email him. Let me know what you think.:goodvibes

We did a Costa Maya ruins trip with Carnival. There are 2 ruins near there, we did the lesser temple along with a Mayan home visit that included a Mayan cooked meal. It was very cool. The pool and shopping area was so nice. I hope it's rebuilt when we get there.
