Last full day in Florida. Starting to see the tunnel at the end of the light. Thoughts of home start creeping into my consciousness. I hate that.

Started in EPCOT today. Test Track again, then Universe of Energy. Wonders of Life next - they really need to overhaul that pavillion. All the sensory testing is neat, or at least it was the first few times. Now that its been there for years and we know all the answers to the questions, it simply isn't fun anymore. If it wasn't for the Pure and Simple cafe, we probably wouldn't bother going in there. Breezed through Innoventions West to Living Seas - a friend had asked me to get him some pressed quarters he was missing. Didn't stay in there very long as my daughter's attitude and behavior that day left much to be desired. Really no where to have lunch since we had already done the Land food court twice this week and they closed Pasta Piazza a while ago. So we headed out.

Had lunch and walked around a bit at Orlando Premium Outlets. Picked up a couple of things at the Disney store there. Then we took a leisurely drive up the length of International Drive just to rest our feet and see what was going on. We discovered what looks like a great go-cart track - multi-level. We didn't stop to ride it (my daughter didn't deserve a treat at that point) but we'll definitely put it on our list for next time.

After relaxing back at our hotel for a little while, went to Downtown Disney for dinner and final shopping. Got sandwiches at Gourmet Pantry. This is something we've never done before and I think it is an overlooked source of a simple and reasonably priced meal. Along with shopping, we enjoyed some of the Festival of the Masters art exhibits, particularly the sidewalk chalk painting that was being done. Several of the artists were at work and were happy to talk with us and discuss what they were doing. The Lego folks were also working on what would be a 12 foot tall Yoda sculpture. Walked thru Pleasure Island shops, then headed back for the nite.
