Welcome fellow 1st time Disney cruiser & neighbor! I was so excited to find this thread too! I can't wait until we can count down from 365!.....somehow it'll seem close when it's only a YEAR away! Almost there!
We booked opening day for this cruise...which means we're a third of the way done waiting!
Actually this wait has been so long, it has driven me to start DISigning...
I've seen a lot of your designs on the magnet thread & you're awesome! I was just thinking how I need to request some Tangled stuff from you, so don't be surprised when I request from that thread. 
I have a feeling my cabin door is going to be totally covered for this cruise! Then I guess they'll find a home on the refrigerator after the cruise! 
That's when we booked too!

Has anyone ever arranged a "pre-meetup" before cruising? So many of us are local, perhaps we could meet during the summer next year? Just a thought! I am a social organizer, event planner (for fun in my spare time in my life/neighborhood) so I love doing this kind of thing.
I also booked our cruise the very first day, so thankful I did because the rates have REALLY jumped!

I'm still waiting to see where my daughter will be going to college as that will dictate if we can make this particular cruise. If she goes to a college where she can get the full week of Thanksgiving off, then we are in Looking forward to it!Hey Autumn, Yes! I have organized a Pre-Meet up for our Disney Med Cruise the summer of 2010. We all meet at the Cheesecake Factory at the Galleria as it was a central location for most of us. It was so nice to meet everyone before the cruise. It felt like we were cruising with family once we all got onboard. We also organized a meet up on the ship and a fun gift exchange as well as a brunch and lots of other meet ups through out the cruise. It was so fun

Well, we had to end up cancelling this cruise!

I'd like to join in.
We were booked to go to the Panama Canal for Christmas 2012 and then DCL Fantasy for Thanksgiving 2013. However, we just got back from a Caribbean cruise over Thanksgiving with another cruise line and loved it. So we cancelled our Panama Canal cruise (will save that for when the girls are a little older) and moved our DCL cruise to the Magic for Christmas. Well, today I clicked "why didn't I look at Thanksgiving" where we can celebrate our DDs birthday at the same time. Well, I called today and changed it again.
We have never cruised with DCL. I've booked before, but switched for different reasons - so it will be fun to finally use that Fish Extender, etc. And how can you beat sailing out of Galveston (we live in Houston).
So, please count us in.
