Binky, think we could do something with our logo graphic? Would you be okay with that? Would you want to design it so it can be individualized for each family or would you want me to? You are more than welcome to design something Would we each print off our own?? I'm not sure how it works..... You are more than welcome to our snow - believe me, if Gail and I could ship you some, we would gladly send it out today!!!

We are NOT going to Universal (TG!!) but will be visiting DW instead ! Gotta stop though - I've got tonnes to do.... I'll be checking back with my Double Dippers though...

I don't like getting old as I forget things. T-shirts. When we did the 11 night Southern on the Wonder a few years ago, that group had a logo and one of our DISers set up a store on a website (that is what I forget) and there were several styles of shirts (tee, golf, tanks, long sleeve, short sleeve, sweatshirts, ball caps etc) that we could purchase with the logo on them. Ring a bell with anyone?? I have been trying to remember for several weeks but no luck. It worked out so well and the prices were very reasonable as well. I will go dig up the thread and see if I can figure it out if needed.

Well, happy Saturday all. Drew is home (for his anniversary with his GF) and he has a haircut shortly so I best get hopping if I want to ride along.

We didn't even feel the earthquake because we were in the car driving home from California Adventure. We ended up only spending two hours there and never made it into Disneyland, but enjoyed a nice dinner at Downtown Disney. I got a $69 credit (for the birthday promotion) toward a new annual pass . That was GREAT. I'm just bummed that DD won't get to take advantage of it since we'll be on the cruise instead!

Had a great day at DL, no crowds and great weather. Plus I got my Birthday Fun Card and enjoyed spending some of Walt's money...bought stuff for the cruise of course!

I was looking over the spreadsheet and was wondering if we fill out a new spread if some of our plans are updated or have changed all together? We are considering the Radisson at the Port but not sure yet. Noticed a few of you are staying there. Have you stayed before? How are the rooms? We are going to MK on Friday but since it closes early due to the Christmas party thought we could just drive down and eliminate the hassle in the morning. Did you get a good rate?

Hypermommy - if you are up to the task, would you be able to put the logo on the t-shirt?? I can't seem to get it any bigger than about 1" and it looks kinda silly .

I have something special that I am working on - one per cabin - can't tell you - TOP SECRET - SHHHHH!!! Although I can be bribed with an alcoholic beverage....

It's supposed to go down to -31 by Friday - can you even imagine?!?!?!? Time to pull out the extra woolly long underwear!!

Booked a rental car today for our arrival - now I have two. One for Budget at the airport and one from Avis at the Hilton by DTD. Now to decide if we are going to do Magical Express to SSR or drive there from the airport. My vote is ME but we shall see. I think we will do Cirque that night and then we can sleep in, make our grocery stop on the way to the port for our Pepsi, beer and whatever else I forget.

-31 - that is cold. I just don't understand the point to getting that cold. It won't snow and just makes everyone miserable. We are supposed to get below zero but not down into double digits below zero. I need to fill my gas tank tomorrow so that I don't have any problems - or have to pump in that "tropical" crap.

This is going to be a bittersweet post for me. It looks like a strong possibiliity that we are not going to be cruising with all of you wonderful people. Financially it just makes more sense to do the 4 for 3 promo they are having now thru May at WDW. We have never been and it is MUCH (thousands) of $$ cheaper than the cruise. And there is SO much fun stuff to do with 2 little princesses.
Sigh, I am going to leave my ticker and hang out just in case some miracle happens and we can do both. I have until Aug right??

Oh Miss Mary I am bummed! I totally am hoping and praying that you can do both. I understand completely! Seriously understand. The thought of spending $$$ on this cruise sickens me, but I am trying to just chip away at it. Let us know what you decide. DW is a blast with the kids. I have done it a few times. But for me, the ship is more fun and more relaxing...DW can really add up too! The deal right now is a nice one for sure...hoping they come up with something for the Fall to make things better... Just my two cents!

Sad news indeed - but a trip to WDW is awesome so I completely understand the trade. Something may change so we will all keep our fingers crossed.

We're struggling with the same issues....I just wish my kids were a little younger so i could hold off for another year....but I'm afraid that my ds will not really feel the "magic" if we don't get to go soon...he will be 10 1/2 y.o. when we cruise as it is!

I have a dear friend who has decided to stop cancer treatment (it's a very sad ending to a long 5 year struggle) and I was feeling down on Friday. I told my DH when he came home from work and he said "Geez, so I guess I shouldn't consider cancelling the cruise..." (And I'm thinking to myself "Like, what??!?!?!?). I'm frantically looking for even more things around the house to sell to add to the cruise fund so that not so much $$ will be due in August.

Here's hoping that we are able to get together in November !

That is by far the sadest thing I have heard in a long time. I am so sorry for your friends struggle and damn that cancer! My husband said a few statements over the weekend to me that indicated that he was finally onboard with the whole thing. Thankfully. However, I too and piling things up to sell. Off to the kids resale shop tomorrow. I haven't sold on ebay yet only because I don't know how! Craig's list was easy, ebay looks a bit more intimidating...hang in everyone! We will all be ok!

I hear you!! We also briefly discussed doing WDW instead, but I told my dh that I want to take a family vacation where I don't have to cook or plan our daily itineraries. We've been to WDW twice and while I can't wait to go back I really am not in the mood right now to worry about the meal planning part of it...we stay in a condo. to save money but then I have to make breakfast, pack tons of "healthy" snacks and the whole food part of it...plus I really want to RELAX!!!!
With 3 kids relax is not in my daily vocabulary!
My dh says perhaps we should do a 4 day Disney cruise instead...but I really don't want to give up the SPH rooms I tried so hard to get!
To get more $$ I'll be listing some things on Craig's List and Ebay too...plus I gotta get more soaps and stuff made to sell at spring craft shows.

I hear ya!! We were at DW last Christmas for 2 weeks and we also stayed in a condo (8 of us!) and I did the exact same thing I do at home - cooking, cleaning & laundry. I will not have to do any of that on the cruise.

I can tell you one thing - my DH and I have travelled all over the world - Canada, US, Europe, New Zealand, Far East, Caribbean and South America - both with and without kids and I can HONESTLY say that our Jan'07 Cruise was the most relaxing/least stressful and most fun vacation I have ever had.....
