Can't believe it is almost here, my parents fly in today from Phoenix and then my sister and her family fly in from Reston, VA just in time Sunday morning for cruise! So relaxing for us to be here already

We are just outside of Hershey - I lived in Shamokin for a few years when I was little. Small World!

Small world, indeed! I grew up in Shamokin and now live in Reston! Looking forward to meeting you all in a few days.

Hope everyone affected by the weekend's snow is back to normal. My son's college in Massachusetts was evacuated and just got their power on this morning; he's been staying at a friend's since Sunday.

Busy week and haven't started packing yet. But we travel a lot and kinda have it down to a science, especially a trip like this with all warm weather clothes. In September, we did a west coast trip where it was 45 degrees in Whistler and then 85 in Southern California and everything in between down the coast.

Are they flying right about now? Wonder if they are on the same plane as NotSoLittleMermaid? She just reported in on fb from the airport and made me VERY jealous!

Three and 1/2 days of work left...and I'd better get back to it so my team-mate won't have to deal with my back log!!

3 days of work!!!

It took me a while to figure out what an MH was!

that is a lot of snow. will it stick around ???

It's mostly gone now, but we got 17 inches and lost power for 3 days. Power came back on Monday overnight, but no phones, no internet and no television.

Needless to say, I am no longer counting down the days, I'm counting down hours now.

Last nite charged Nook, camera, put in battery charger in pile for cruise....what am I forgetting? ???

Good luck with the packing on Friday - I would be going nuts too having to wait. Although I think packing all one time is the way to do it. I have been packing and unpacking my suitcases making sure that I have everything

When are you going to tell them about the cruise??? and How???

The plan is that the kids get home from school at 4 pm, we tell them when they get home. I have a "Letter" from Mickey. Then at 4:15 I have an incoming phone call from Mickey telling us he is excited to see us on the Dream on Sunday. We leave for the airport around 6:30 pm. We will see if I can make it until Friday. I honestly have been thinking about telling the kids tomorrow, but then I think I have waited this long why not wait until Friday?

Yes, small world....I am in Fairfax only 10 minutes from Reston.

My husband and I booked this cruise a few weeks ago (we're very last minute), but I haven't had time to say hi. My best friend is coming too. This is my 8th cruise with DCL, but our first time on the Dream, so we're pretty excited

Hang in there - you can make it til Friday - but I bet Friday will one long day for you, waiting for them to come home from school

From the recent Navigators you go directly to Palo to make reservations or you can call them. Maybe I'll see you there - I would like to get brunch reservations!

The Navigator they give us when we check in at the port should say. They have been mixing it up a bit lately, sometimes right outside Palo and sometime where they do regular dining changes.

Only 1 (count 'em one) more day of going into the office.

On Friday I'll be working from home. I have to take my car in in the morning to have my snow tires put on and in the late afternoon the pooches have to to the "spa."

Even though I'm working from home, my will be very busy. It's really booking up with meetings. I have them nearly throughout the day. Two meetings I'll have to attend via my cell phone while at the car dealer!

I really, really, really need a vacation!

Not bad here Andrea. We took my mom, sister and their dog in with us for a few days. They had no power for 4 days. There are some places still without power and almost their years worth of snow days used up already.
