Time to do some packing this weekend. And OMG, we might have an inch of snow tomorrow here in VIRGINIA! Castaway Cay--here we come!

next week i get home from work, pet the cat, feed the cat, then finish the last minute packing, pet the cat , feed the cat, then off to the airport.. ME and OKW for 2 nights..then THE DREAM!!!

Flying out on Wednesday, 1:05pm Central European Time to Miami. Going to check now how the situation regarding Hurricane Rina looks like.

We are just outside of Hershey - I lived in Shamokin for a few years when I was little. Small World!

One week from right now we will be in the air on our way to MCO. YEAH! Only 7 more sleeps and we will be on vacation. Sooo can't wait.

first we have to survive the snow tomorrow. Hasn't snowed here in NOVA in October since 1979. I didn't live here then, so I have not seen snow this early ever. YIKES.

I guess this will make our tropical vacation so much sweeter - as if it wasn't going to be already!

We were supposed to go away tomorrow for our first overnight ever away from the kids, to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. But where we were going is supposed to have 9-14" of snow, so we'll have to reschedule for some other time.

Having the cruise next week sure makes that disappointment a lot easier to take!

I can't believe it's supposed to snow tomorrow back east! I have an appointment for next Friday to have my snow tires put on.

A week from today we'll be getting ready to fly out the next day.

I cannot wait or this trip, although I have alot to get through before we leave! I'm in my best friends wedding on Sat (cruise booked prior to engagement w/whole family otherwise would have canceled). I have rehearsal dinner Friday, wedding sat, and flying to Orlando at 7:00am (talk bout hectic weekend). I just can't wait o be on the ship eating an ice cream bar!

My concern would be that my iPad is only 32Gb so space concerns me. Have you offloaded videos onto your iPad?

One week from now we'll be heading to the airport. We decided to fly in on Saturday and stay at the Hyatt MCO - flying in on Sunday was just cutting it a little too close.

Question for all you cruise veterans - we have late seating for dinner; is there time after the early show to dress for dinner or should we already have that attire on when we head to the show?

Late seating starts at 8:15pm, the show ends at 7:15pm, so this allows you almost an hour of time to change into your evening attire. Should be enough.

We usually dress for late dinner BEFORE going to the show. After the show, we can relax and have a drink or visit the characters in the atrium. Especially on these short cruises when everyone is usually back on board by late afternoon.

I usually dress for dinner after the show.. but I am flexible..
