The Fish Extender I ordered from EBAY arrived today.

It is actually quite nicer than I imagined it would look like, and the pockets are bigger than I thought they would be. Jay's pocket has a pirate hat with the DCL logo on it, and I have a red pirate bandana on my pocket. Jay's looks a little nicer than mine, making me jealous, and making Jay laugh.

I will feel like a little kid hanging up the Christmas Stocking, when I hang up the Fish Extender on the first day of the Cruise.

Wow, just about 4 weeks till WDW, and 5 weeks to the Cruise.

Question: How cool does it get up on the deck in the evening? Do you recommend long sleeve shirts, jeans for walking around? Do you need a hoodie or light jacket?

I'm trying to figure out what clothes to bring. Actually, what shoes to bring! Avoidance of a "shoe suitcase" is high on the list. That means attempting to go with either brown or black, but not both! And then, of course, I have to factor in my husband's clothes so our photos look decent.

Oh, the struggles.....

Our FE (or is it SE? ) is nearly finished (it's quite simple - don't laugh too hard when you see it!) and our FE gifts are nearly there, too.

I hope everyone had a great weekend - there aren't too many left until we set sail!

I've been reading a RECENT 4 day trip report and the OP is posting Navigators, but they haven't gotten to the Sea Day yet. I noticed that Pink wasn't open till SIX P.M. on Embarkation and Nassau Day...hopefully it will be earlier on the sea day (you'd think they'd have it open so people with early dining would have time for a glass of bubbly!

Haven't gotten any of my 'assignments' done yet, but did at least go to WW for my weigh in. Will do my online shopping as soon as I'm caught up on the DIS.

I'm hell bent on not overpacking for this trip. I keep telling myself that's it's only 4-nights. I'll be doing laundry on our last night in prep for the second 3-night cruise leg of our vacation.

There is a few hours left to the 30 percent off EBAGS sale for today, and I am almost crazy enough to order the MOTHER LODE 29" bag, because I am having regrets that the 25" Junior version may not be big enough. I haven't even used the Junior version yet !!!!

I am also taking the carry on weekender, and probably a smaller computer bag with my electronics, besides the box I am shipping down to WDW a week ahead of schedule.

Space for the Fish Extender Gifts is challenging !

I think I am crazy.

It is a good thing I am not flying on SouthWest or I would be bringing two checked bags (because they are free on Southwest).

I will have to try packing a week before the trip to see how it works out.

I have a washer dryer in the VILLA at WDW, yet still we will probably bring more clothes than needed.

Sneakers, Sandals, Crocs, WaterPark footwear, and Casual Boat Style Shoes.
I must eliminate at least the Sandals or the Crocs.

Ian, How in the heck do you get a Tuxedo and Top Hat in your luggage?

We have a full set of the Mother Lode duffels and love them.

We don't own top hats just tails. Personally I prefer simple mouse ears with tuxes.

i tried on my bathing suit over the weekend and it is ok with shorts..

I GOT A PIRATE outfit..so guess i'll be full piratey..on pirate night..

of course I justified it by the cruise next October, and DL for Halloween night ( do they dress up too?) but I just may have to book another cruise just to justify the outfit..

Hi! I am new to this thread. We are going on this cruise with 4 other staterooms of family. yay! It is getting close and I am getting frantic trying to make sure we'll have everything we need.

I was wondering though, I noticed when looking at excursions that they are all available (except cabanas, of course) and I wondered if this meant that there is still a lot of room left on the cruise? Or is that wishful thinking?

Welcome! I think someone recently said that they are offering the restricted rates for some catagories on this cruise, so that would lead us to believe that the ship is not full. Anybody looking to upgrad at port may be in luck!

Thanks for that info. Yes i see on the disney website that there is a restricted option for oceanview with verandah.

I want to book a 3 night for next October, 2012 on Dream while on-board during this cruise because I noticed my kids have that Friday off school next year so they would only miss one day to go.

Aren't there special discounts and a better stateroom credit for booking while on board? this is our fifth Disney Cruise this cruise so the next one for Oct 12 would be our sixth. I never booked while on-board before because I never thought to check school schedule ahead.

Oh yes. You will get 10% off the cruise cost (not counting taxes and port fees). You will receive a Castaway Club on board credit ($150 for a three day cruise as a GOLD member). Your depoit will be 50% less than if you booked now.

Go on line now and price out the specific cruise you want so you know what the cost is for various cabin types. Since our cruise is coming up so quickly you should be safe to wait till then to book. The price of next year's cruise shouldn't go up in the next few weeks, it could, but not too likely.
