101 Ways My Son Entertained Himself at WDW--The Last Day--New 11/18

Welcome! Thanks for reading... :) I'm going to hop over to your PTR tomorrow. We can compare notes... Today's too busy!:scared1:

Another vote for Yakitori... I was thinking about Wolfgang Puck Express. Maybe I'll go there too. Thanks! :goodvibes

Three votes for Japan! Yipppeeee! :woohoo: Mmmmm. Baklava...

Sorry I don't have the expertise to chime in on your dining situation, but Baklava is always a winner in my book :thumbsup2

Thank you for the welcome and I completely understand about the busy thing. I had gotten really involved in the boards in August/September and then work/home stuff ramped up and it was just within the last week or so that I've been able to come back and truly focus on our trip and my good & new friends on the boards :yay:

Morning HS! Your ticker is getting close! (which must mean Christmas is close too! )

I forgot all about Yakitori House. :confused3 That's definitely a good choice. ::yes::

Skip the food in China! And yes, you're correct... living in S. Texas you wouldn't like the food in Mexico.

I'll go with the herd and vote Japan counter service.

Hi!!!!

I see I have a lot of catching up to do :upsidedow

Oh my goodness your trip is so close!!!

Ok all caught up, can't believe I'm in the top 5 posters even though I've been MIA! Wooohooo!:woohoo:

CS in Epcot, stay far away from the Electric Umbrella. :scared:
Sunshine Seasons looked nice there's A LOT of variety there.
As for WS foods, we always eat at Mexico too. We lived in Southern Colorado and we liked the Disney Mexican food fine. :confused3 I'm not familiar with the other WS foods because I'm just not that adventurous with my eating choices.

You guys sure are at DTD a lot. Raglan Road is an excellent choice though to start off your trip. I think I may be the only DISer who did not find the sandwiches at EoS enticing so I opted for Wolfgang Puck Express (which is next to EoS).

Hey HS--where are ya? Getting ready for Thanksgiving?

Sorry... It's been busy. My kids went to Grandma's yesterday, so I'm trying to get some things done I can't do when the kids are home. I have to get into that pile of stuff I've been stashing away from Christmas for the kids! :scared1:

I have so much work to do to get ready for the trip, but we have a couple of Bdays this month too. (My baby turns 5 next Tuesday!!!) I just figured out I have one weekend without plans (so far) until next year after the trip! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Hi,

I just got done reading your journal actually the index pages I cheated LOL. Your trip sounds great I love the jewerly you made and am considering trying to make some although I am not crafty at all and think I am going to steal your memory box idea.

I too, am an "over-planner". My friends tease that I need a 12-step program, but I tell them that they are just jealous and wish they could be as completely OCD as me :rotfl:

I have created a table of all 4 parks with open, close, firework and parade times for each. I have other detailed cards for each park (all attractions, lengnth of time & hight requirements) and a Dining summary and daily plan chart. I will gladly share these with you (or anyone else interested) if someone can tell me how to attach a word file (is it possible?). If it's not possible, and you would like, I can e-mail the file directly to you. Let me know!

Hope you have a "Magical" Trip :)

Hi HS hope you're getting everything done and have some more DIS time soon :goodvibes

Welcome! And, it's not stealing, it's borrowing! :goodvibes

Oh! I'm totally interested. I think you can click on my name and e-mail me. I'll make sure it's set up to accept e-mails! Thanks for thinking of me!
Hi HS hope you're getting everything done and have some more DIS time soon :goodvibes
I will have more time to DIS when Monday rolls around. Right now I'm working on things I can't do while the kids are here. I miss them so much, though! It's so quiet!

Your trip is so soon! How exciting!
I know, right? :yay: I'm really feeling the pressure to get things done! there's so much I haven't done yet!!!! :headache:

My kids are at Grandma's for a couple of days, so I've been off the DIS boards and printing, and planning like crazy!!! I've been going through all those projects I made and Christmas Disney gifts!
Today I am printing off the Passport pages for each of the kids from Patsdesigns.com. She's a DISer from the design boards. I also e-mailed her with my requests for invitations I can use for our special events I have planned.

Last night as I looked through all the crafts and outfits I have for the kids, I thought, "DS is NOT going to be happy with no toys for Christmas." I'll have to get them a few more things. Not mention I still need to figure out Santa gifts. :santa:

I did buy DH's ride along experience this am. They are having a sale for $59 instead of $99. I also tried to schedule a Christmas morning phone call from Mickey, but it was cranky with my information, so I'll have to try again in a few minutes.

Fun, fun, fun but busy, busy, busy!!! :wizard:

Tomorrow the hubs, the puppy and I go to my mom's to have Thanksgiving with the kids. We'll be home late, so maybe I can check in on Friday. No black Friday shopping for me. I hate the crowds. :scared1:

I'm with you on the Black Friday thing.

So what presents are you going to get DS. popcorn::

Hmmm... He loves Cars, Batman, Spiderman... I may wait to decide b/c his Bday is Tuesday. I need to see what he gets from his party.
He wants the Underdog Movie, a Spiderman wrist shooter thingy (?), Blue Ramon, Freeze Batman (I think he's blue- we saw him at Toys R Us)... He likes Buzz Lightyear too, so maybe something from that series. :confused3

I'm so with you on the black Friday shopping- none for me! If i see some online sales MAYBE but I am not dealing with crowds like that!!

:sad2:

HS the drive along sale, how long does the voucher last for?
I'm not sure. I went back to look and all it says is they can be redeemed beginning Jan. 1st. There's a number you can call and ask. I'd hate to tell you the wrong thing.

I'm ready to shop! After dinner tomorrow, I'm planning my attack by gathering all the sales papers together and charting a strategy. I think I'll bring my pitchfork along so I can prod people away from the digital camera I want at WalMart!
