$100 gift card with Disney Visa!

Just curious, does the gift card have a name on it? I talked my Dad into applying and he's planning to give me his gift card

So, I read about this deal from first post.I have had a disney visa for about 4 years.In April(when I finished planning our upcoming trip)I had called disney visa to add my hubby onto my account and to get him his own card to use when we go.I used the link provided in this post to go online and sign my hubby up for his own account.He rec'd his card about 6 days later.We used it to buy $14 in gas on 4/24 and today 5/4 we rec'd the $100 gift card!! I had also read in this post that a cardholder can have more than one account(maybe they assume you might want one business,one personal).Either way I used the link and signed up too and BAM I got the card to!I will use it soon and see if I get the free $100 as well. So from start to finsh(getting $100) is about 2 1/2 weeks.

I followed the link on the DVC members site.

When I applied in my name, they said the offer was no longer being promoted.

So I went back & applied in my DH name, they took it & said a response would be mailed.

We both already have Chase Disney Visa accounts in our own names w/ the other as a signer (I still use my maiden name) that we use every day.

We'll see

Went online today to pay my DH's bill & saw a new Disney credit card account . So he was approved, just haven't received it yet.

Will post when we use it to see it we get a gift card or credit.

The card came in the mail today. When my DH gets home he can activate it & we'll probably use it tomorrow at Home Depot, he's building us a pergola.

The charge should show up online by Mon or Tues, but I wonder when you get the $100. Is it after you make your first charge, first payment, or first statement?

Well I checked the mail & there it was. A $100 Disney gift card!
I haven't made a payment yet, nor has the statment closed yet. So it must only be based on first purchase made.

I can tell I was approved, it's on my Chase website with my other card, 2 days since I applied, not bad. Now to see if I get the gift card after I use it. I can't believe the credit line they gave me, it's almost as high as our joint account, which they just increased without us asking. They are nuts!

I know- they're coming really fast!! I was worried mine wouldn't come before my trip in June, but I have time to try to convince my mom to try to get one for us too. LOL I'm so excited because that's $200 extra dollars to spend that's not coming out of my pocket!!

just to update-I rec'd my card today 5/6.This is my 2nd card(since I read somewhere that you can have up to 4 from same company).I called to activate and she said "now after your first purchase we will send you a $100 gift card" Between me and the hubby I just got us $200 in money for food at the mouse house next month!!!!

I just cancelled my husbands card in December... but reapplied and they sent it. I used it for a $5 car wash... and got the gift card this week. Wow! great deal... thanks.

Guess I got accepted I just recieved an email, "Welcome to Disney Rewards" Now to see if they beat my interest rate on my Discover reward....it's a battle of the reward cards.

I do plan to make a purchase to get the gift card (trying to plan a trip in Jan) and then if they have a better rate I'll switch it over. Right now I use my Disc. to pay for OOP like doctor/dentist/travel/gifts stuff I know I'm going to pay off at the end of the month or be reinbursed on. I rarely carry a balance but just in case I want the best rate.

weeks ago and still hasn't received his GC. He used the link for the gift card, he really didn't want another cc I just wanted the gift card for our trip in June. I am sorta sad that everyone else is getting the gc so quickly. Should we call disney visa?

Thanks everyone! I have a disney Visa but this deal worked for me! I signed up Thursday April 23, recieved the card on April 28, made first purchase on April 28, and recieved the $100 gift card on May 8. What a great deal.

Really it worked? You already have one card in your name and it let you get a 2nd card plus the $100.00 gift card? I'll have to try it then too! I could sure use that $100.00 gift card for my WDW trip this Sept.!

Yes! It really worked. Have the $100 gift for proof! Very simple online application to fill out too. Give it a try!
