10 Days Of Glorious Disney Dining! Lots Of Pics!~Complete!

We got a really early start today and got to Epcot shortly after rope drop. Soarin' already had a huge line so we decided to grab a Fastpass and breakfast. Since we were already in The Land to get our FPs we decided to stop at Sunshine Seasons.

I grabbed a Cheese Danish

I always love the Cheese Danish at WDW. I haven't had a bad one yet. In fact they are always very fresh and sweet here. Yum!:lovestruc

DH got the Breakfast Panini
P1030645.jpg

I looked online and didn't see it listed on the menu so I couldn't find an exact description of what was in this, but needless to say, it was breakfasty things. DH loved this! I saw it behind the counter and it was made as one big pie and then cut into pieces. It looked tasty, but I didn't try any.

We skipped the meal plan for this meal and just charged it to the room since it was pretty cheap and I hate using CS credits for breakfast.

Now, let's walk around Future World and build up an appetite for lunch!

Now that we've walked off our breakfast we are ready to head to World Showcase for some lunch. It had been a long time since I've had the Mexican food here so I wanted to give it another try this trip.

Let me tell you, I am picky about Mexican food. I love it, but we have what I consider to be the best Mexican food ever at a restaurant near us back at home. It's indescribably amazing. We love it so much that we had our rehearsal dinner there when we got married. Whenever we give a different Mexican restaurant a chance I always regret it because it's never as good. But, with La Cantina de San Angel I figured I needed to get over myself and try it. This is kind of different too because it's not like I have a choice between the two. Here I have a choice between this and another CS cheeseburger. So, here we go.

We both got the Tacos de Carne
P1030691.jpg

I really really liked it! I thought the beef brisket in the tacos was tender and tasty. The tortillas were very fresh and soft. Even the tortilla chips were tasty and they gave us a lot of them. They had Hot Salsa at the condiments bar which I got a few cups of and poured all over my tacos along with the pico de gillo. I also dipped my chips in the salsa. They had hot and mild salsa and I preferred the hot. It was not chunky, but it was thick so it was still good for dipping.

DH really liked this too, but I definitely liked it more. I want this right now actually!

DH took a very unflattering picture of me stuffing my face, which I will bravely display here just to show you how much I enjoyed them

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Oh goodness.

For dessert we both got the Churros con Cajeta
P1030692.jpg

I love a good churro and these were good! I liked that they were in smaller pieces insead of just one big piece. They were also very very fresh tasting. I had a lot of stale churros at Universal Studios last year, which put a damper on my love of churros. These were much better. I didn't use the caramel sauce. I tried it, but wasn't crazy about it, so I enjoyed my plain. DH however, loved the caramel sauce! In fact, he kept harrassing me for not using mine. He isn't crazy about churros in general, but he loved these with the caramel sauce.

I will definitely be returning here in the future! What a pleasant surprise this place was!

After a long walk around the countries we headed back to Future World to use our Test Track FP and DH used a snack credit on one of these at the Cool Wash.

A frozen Coke! We usually get these at the Lunching Pad at MK, but that was closed during our trip, so DH was thilled to find them here at Epcot as well. He wanted to mix it with the Frozen Raspberry drink, but the girl working the register didn't understand, so he got one that was just Coke. These are so cold and so refreshing when it's hot at WDW.

Up next... Dinner at Turf Club!

Oh my gosh. I have to eat at Wolfgang Puck's next visit. The food looks amazing.

And I agree about the Mexican food at Epcot. It's so good! I'm really picky about it too. :)

If I learned to make those margaritas at home it would be dangerous! :rotfl: I seriously regretted not going back for another one myself. I'm reading along with your dining reviews and loving them as well! So cool that we were at WDW at the same time :thumbsup2

Excellent! Sounds like it should be a great trip! My camera is a Lumix DMC-TZ2 which is just a basic camera with no additional lens. It's great though, I love it! Definitely try an Avocado Margarita! Or 2. Or 3. It's your birthday so go crazy! :woohoo: Hope you have a wonderful trip and a very happy birthday and anniversary :goodvibes

It's hard to go wrong with Bacon Wrapped anything, but Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf... heavenly!

That steak is amazing! It was hard to try something new at Kona when I know how much I love that steak, but I'm glad I did because now I love the Tuna Oscar more.

I didn't notice the croissant berry pudding, but I wasn't paying a lot of attention at the breakfast station. I noticed the panini cause DH pointed it out, but that was it. I was zoned in on the pasteries :lmao: I asked hubby if he remembered, but he said he was too focused on which slice of the panini the woman behind the counter was trying to give him to notice anything else going on around him. Sorry we couldn't be of more help.

I was torn between the tacos and the nachos. I think I might have to try the nachos next time. You can never really go wrong with nachos :thumbsup2

Oh.....I am so happy I found your reviews! Love them! We had dinner for the first time at Kona Cafe in July and it was my favorite meal of the trip. It's a must do for our next trip...and I am definitely going to be brave and ask for the bread pudding from Ohanas. :) Also, we went to Hacienda in Mexico and I tried that avocado margarita.....you are not kidding! Heaven in a glass!!!! So excited that I can get one to go!
Thank you so much for sharing!
