Karamell-Kuche is amazing. I always get the caramel popcorn. I have to give the Dark Chocolate Caramel With Sea Salt a try next time.
You need to make it to the Boulangerie Patisserie in france. One of the best things in wdw is the Pithivier (I think thats what its called, I just point)![]()
Sorry I am late but I am here now
Oh I have fond memories of the red velvet cheesecake from MSB
Loving your reviews and can't wait to hear about your solo shopping and dinner at DTD![]()
enjoying your reviews and pics. I can't wait to go to Karmell Kuche /dark next month. The sea salt chocolate looks amazing. I had milk chocolate carmel last time. I am pretty sure I will be trying more than one new thing there this trip.
Love Earl of Sandwich - still mad at myself for taking so long to try it (1st time 2 years ago - we didn't always make it to dtd and when we did we ate at wpe)
Looking forward to more.
When we stayed at akl - we also had a room that seemed to be the farthest from the lobby. We were excited to have a savanna view but next time would prefer to be closer to the lobby than have a savanna view. We ended up sometimes putting our refillable mugs in a pool locker so that we could drop them off after b'fast and pick them up when we came back from the parks.![]()
Your reviews are GREAT so far
I am looking forward to reading about the rest of your dining adventures....and the more I read, the more excited I get about my trip. 64 DAYS![]()
I really want to just take a bite out of my computer screen......that BBQ looks DIVINE!!!!!! this is someplace we've never eaten either...however, that may now change on our next trip!
Well thats just great...now I want to cancel something so I can go to Kona so I can get the dessert from Ohana!![]()
On our third day here at WDW we decided to head on over to Animal Kingdom for the day. We did a few rides including ITTBAB which we thought was supposed to to closed while we were here! Bonus! That totally made our dayThen we headed to Flame Tree BBQ for the first time ever!

We love BBQ but for some reason we had never eaten here before. I think it's because I have a weird obsession with Pizzafari and usually insist on eating there every trip, but I decided to try new things this trip.
DH got the Chicken and Ribs Combo with Baked Beans and Cole Slaw

He loved this! In fact I just got off the phone with him and told him I was doing the review for this meal and he said, "Oh my God I want that so bad right now!"
After I took the picture he covered it in the BBQ sauce from the condiments station. He was a mess while he was eating and I kept having to wipe his face for him since his hands were covered in BBQ sauce
I got the Pork Sandwich with Cole Slaw

I also covered mine in BBQ sauce, which was definitely the way to go! I am not a fan of cole slaw, but the cole slaw here was actually pretty good. However, I tried hubby's baked beans and they were delicious! I wish I had thought to ask if I could sub for the beans instead of the slaw.
For dessert we both got the Chocolate Mousse

This was really good too! DH said specifically to tell you all that this was his favorite dessert EVER at WDW! I don't think I would go that far by any means, but DH only likes 2 kinds of desserts: Cheesecake or something that's all chocolate. He doesn't really branch out with sweets.
I also really loved the outdoor seating area here. We sat overlooking the lake with Everest in the distance. I was a little worried about sitting outside when it's hot, but it was shaded and surprisingly cool. We had a tasty and relaxing lunch here. Definitely another must-do to add to our list for next trip and a great use of a counter service credit!
Up next... Possibly my favorite meal EVER at WDW!!!!
