Hi, Thanks I will have to go watch it.SO Happy to see your pics! I went in 1980, the legs couldn't handle it this yearIt was SO GREAT! I've been loving the Phils since the '60's when I was a little kid. It's wonderful your DS and DD can go to the games with you and they love it as much as you.
I think I cried for 3 days, and yes, mostly for my grandfather who's not here any more, knowing he would have loved this championship! We even re-watched the parade on 57 yesterday all afternoon. I'm sure your Mom knows all about it - they were all celebrating together with Charlie's Mom, Whitey, Tug and Vuk.
I'm going to send you a pm with a youtube link to a radio guy talking about the win and what it meant to him and his Dad. Very eloquent and made me blubber![]()
Have a great day!
I am getting so excited! Thanksgiving is just aroudn the corner.Looks like you're having a blast passing the time til Disney gets here.![]()

Did you find out about your airfare and if you'll get the credit?
Pam, I know it's sort-of old news, but I just have to ask - is this for real? I have heard him referred to as Pat the "bait" because the girls all flock to him. This is truly awesome!
Yiiipppppeeee!!You got your packet!! That makes it so real! We have 55 days from today and I'd love to see my packet!! Of course, I just changed our whole trip to take advantage of the new deal. It may be a little longer for me.
That was a great save about the packet! Do you think your kids have any idea?
I'm resisting the urge to pack! Every other trip I've started by now but then I unpack and repack like 100 times. We'll see how long will power takes me!
I went in January a couple of times and had to pack for both warm and cold. It was chilly in the morning and warm in the middle of the day. We swam once the whole week. I would wear a tank or short sleeve top and capri pants and was fine. Some mornings I had a sweat jacket on. At night, my son had on a sweat suit. One night, during EMH, he had on a sweat suit and had a blanket over him in the stroller (he was 5 or 6 then). But that's because we were there until almost midnight. Didn't see anyone wearing gloves. It was really nice because the cooler temps had people in a better mood. No craziness from the heat. I love it! We enjoy the first week of Feb now; works better for our schedule. Unfortunately, this next trip will be in May. Not my first choice, but better than the dreaded summer heat.![]()
