An evening FO?:confused3

78 pages and I finally get my first FO? I'm pathetic. Not only that, I'm talking to myself too now.

:lmao: :lmao:

My Mom & Dad (who, as most of you know is in a nursing home) have been hoarding baby dolls. The nursing home keeps them around because some of the residents treat them as if they are real. (rocking them, talking to them, etc.)

My Mom used to make clothes for baby dolls all the time. So when Mike and I went there Fri., I asked her how they have been and she said "We've been going to yard sales all day and I bought some baby dolls" I looked in her bed and sure enough, she was hiding 2 baby dolls under her blankets. :rotfl2:

She went on to tell me, she wanted a big baby doll. So Mike & I went to wal-mart and I bought her one for x-mas. It's life size and life like.

As we were walking through the store, I was carrying it like you would your school books (at my side). This elderly lady came down the isle looking horrified, then said... "Oh my gosh, I thought that baby was real." :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ok Karen this one is for you,
I noticed that you were wearing the croc sandals that came out this year. Are they comfy, and how do they fit, do they stay on while walking or do they slip?

They were great - very comfortable - no blisters or sore spots and I wore them all day round the parks, very lightweight and the 2nd strap makes it easy to keep them on your feet - I cant wear regular crocs - they just fall off my feet when i try to walk:confused3

Buy 'em:thumbsup2

Goodmorning to my UK KKer's

Good morning:goodvibes

Well, I'm pretty please with myself - not a drop of wine last night:yay:
Nor did I scoff any snacks either:yay:

I'm really trying hard this week. My clothes are to the point of extreme uncomfort and the seams are at bursting point, so its necessity rather than vanity at this point:lmao:

I'm painting for 3 hours today then doing an exercise video

Andy- great christmas card thanks for sharing. My son's senior year was this past school year and I was the biggest emotional mess. Now he is college and guess what, still an emotional mess.;)

I know what you mean, and we still can't believe she is already three months into her senior year, the time seems to be flying by. Of course, we just finished up the 5th fundraiser for the band/choir trip, which is keeping us mighty busy. The band/choir trip this Spring is to Chicago, the kids will be going for five days. Hazel and I were thinking of going on the trip, but one look at their very busy schedule, we decided to stay home.................

ok thanks

im up checking closings

so far no luck :sad1:

i think we might though because the school distric 15 min away is closed

Good Luck on getting your ice day!!! My DD is going in a little late this morning, not because of weather, she fighting a head cold and didn't get home from work until 11pm last night, my poor baby is very tired this morning, so I told her to go back to bed for another hour.

My DD starts school at 7:30am, I think we are usually notified between 5:30 and 6:00 if her school is closed because of bad weather. With all the schools closing around your area, I'd say there is a good chance your school will be closed as well. Here's a little extra :wizard: for you this morning. Now I have to start getting ready for work.............
