Ok, all, the family and I are headed out to a pool party.....y'all have a great day.:goodvibes

My left eyeball has been twitching all damn day ... it's driving me crazy!!! :headache:  :scared1:

Does anyone else ever have this probelm or is it just another freakish quirk of my physiology to further set me apart from the rest of humanity? :lmao:

Bendy--I get eye twitches like that every once and awhile, and I know how  they can make you. Haven't had one in some time now, watch me have one tomorrow.......:lmao:

Hazel and I just got in from BJ's with 6 bags of chips, 4 bags of pretzels, 6 dozen mini brownies and 8 dozen cookies. Tomorrow Hazel has to pick up the lunchmeat so we can roll it tomorrow night and she is also picking up the veggies so we can get them cut up for the veggie tray. Two more days and this party will be over......::yes::

Andy, things are going to go smoothly, and when it's all done, you'll wonder why you worried so much.

Is it your eyeball or eyelid. Mine has been doing it off and on for about the last two months. Mine is the lid and the left one.

sounds fun ... wish we were joining you! :goodvibes

Well, we went to the party and it was GREAT! They had "Caribbean" food, steel drum music and a glorious evening. There were door prizes and swimming contests. Rob took part in the swimming contest for adults.....and won! He won...are you paying attention Bendy my baseball fan?........He won 5 tickets to see the Washington Nats play the Atlanta Braves.....Each ticket is valued at $150, right off of home plate, free parking and $35 credit for food and merchadise per ticket....:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

So tonight started off real great with Kelsey. I got home from work late, and she was already out "hanging" I got home at 4:00, called my mom about getting Mackenzie back. She said to meet her at 4:45. I told Scott that gave me 15 minutes to change and unwind from work and I really did not want to go looking for Kelsey. I also told him I would like the pick up to be just me and Mac on the way home. So luckily enough Kelsey did check in and Scott told her that I was leaving at 4:15 and he would be leaving at 4:45. We normally make her come home but tonight we decided to let her stay out with Jordon. We told her she had to be at the back park, or in our house alone, while we were gone. Well I did not leave until 4:30. Scott left at 4:45 and Kelsey was at the back park. I got home at 5:20, unloaded the car and cooked Mackenzie something to eat for dinner. At 5:40 Kelsey pops in the door
Mackenzie "Hi Kelsey"
Kelsey "It is about time you are home. Can I go in Jordon's house"
Me "What do you mean it is about time. I have been home for 20 minutes"
Kelsey "We have been sitting on Jordons porch waiting for you to come home so I can go in her house."
Me "If it is ok with her parents then yes"
Kelsey "It should be I have already been in her house"

She walks out the door.

It took me a minute but I stopped her.

Me "Whos porch were you on"
Kelsey "Jordon's"
Me "I drove past Jordons house on my way in. I did not see you, how long have you been sitting there."
Kelsey "Long enough"
Me "Did you just ask permision to go in her house, but you were already in her house to begin with."
Kelsey "Yes but I was not in there long and dad said not to go anywhere but the back park, and our house until you got home."
Me "But you were in Jordon's house"
Kelsey "Yep"

At this point I walked away not to lose it any.

While talking to Jordon's dad he did confirm all of this also, but he added that when he was leaving to take the boys somewhere, Kelsey stood up and said oh I need to go outside then, because I am not allowed to be in a house with no adults home. So I do give her credit for that. Then he goes on to say that it is ok if she is in their house and they are not home. :scared1: I don't know if I am ready for that.

So how old should a child be to go into another childs house that the parents are not home at?

I thought DIS boards kept track of trash talk. I would hope that you would value your relationship with family more than what you have been sharing. Please, no more laundry airing.
Chris

Good morning/afternoon all....

Well, I am ready to toss both my cats out the front door today and not let them back in....I discovered one of them peed on my clothes! I had some clothes laying on my dresser that must have gotten knocked onto the floor (by a cat) and when I picked them up, guess what I discovered!
 :headache:  :headache:

Pete changed both litter boxes this morning just in case the culprit had decided they weren't clean enough, but I'm so ticked!

Ok, rant over....

Just a word of caution / concern: if it becomes a trend, have the cats checked by a vet. Other than unclean litter boxes, urinating other places could be a sign of an illness. :worried:

How old is Kelsey again?
I think if there are no boys in the house than it is ok. Boys in the house is a no no. Maybe set some boundaries like calling you or Scott if a parent isn't home, and explain the consequences if the rules are broken.
Good for her for sticking to the rules though.

So there are floods in the midwest, and out here on the west coast we have fires. This has been my sunset for the last week.

The smoke has been so bad that we had to keep the kids in the classroom and lunchroom for their last week of school (not fun).

Hi everyone. So glad to see such nice welcomes. Keeping up and understanding the posts will take a while to come to me, buit I'll get it eventually. It only took me a half an hour to figure out how to register and post this to this thread :confused3. After I had posted yesterday I realized that I hadn't given any information about myself. My name is Kathy and I am from Fulton, Missouri. I am a new empty nester - hence having to pay the hefty single supplement!!! My son, Matthew just graduated from High School and has moved out to Colorado Springs, Colorado (where we lived before we moved here) to work with his dad at his place of employment. I am lonely, but it sure is quiet and clean. Don't know what to do with myself these days - I guess I'll have plenty of time to catch up on the posts. I have booked room 7119 Deck 7 AFT - wanted to be close to Deck 9 and the restaurants. I'll let you go for now and I'll keep reading the posts.

Hi Kathy!
My husband and I have been on here for only a few weeks. I enjoy reading the conversations! I jump in whenever I can. The hardest part sometimes is remembering real names when I want to reply to someone! There is a list at the beginning of the thread, but it's hard to check back when you are in the middle!

I almost forgot... we're on 7 as well...midship! And for the same reasons.

Rude me,
Welcome
To all the new Bober's. I'm Becky and will be traveling with my DH Sean. Please jump right in and talk, promise we won't bite.:rotfl:
