Hey guys. We just got done putting the finishing touches on Harrison's room. He has had the Cars theme going on for a while now complete with race car bed but tonight we finally got all the stuff put up that we had bought! It really looks like Radiator Springs blew up in his room.:rotfl: Very busy, but that suits him just fine. He loves it. He keeps talking to the cars on the wall.

Lori his room sounds cool :thumbsup2 Pictures please!

Good night Cheryl and Jeff. I'm heading off to bed. Have a good evening.

You guys definitely needed a back up, no missing that ship!!! The uncertainty this close would drive me crazy :scared1: With the way things are going it does seem like they could be "here today, gone tomorrow"

Yeah, it is nerve racking. I'm to the point of just foregoing the MW tickets and going out on AT on the 13th. Granted we will lose out on the free flight on MW and a future flight on AT (would have gone next spring/summer), but I just like having the piece of mind.

Like I said, do I look at it as if I am wasting $375 ($125 minimum per ticket next year) or just the $7.50 for the MW FF tickets? If I don't have the other flight, it would cost me upwards of $600 to get there last minute.

Granted I could move the AT tickets for free to March, but that MW flight is 13 hours later (16 if you figure my check-in time for MW, 22 if we use a shuttle service - they need 6 hours for a change). At this point, I don't put it past MW to just shut 'er down overnight.

If I would have done the AT flight after the MW one, we wouldn't have gotten 3 seats until Friday. Too late for me. We'd miss DL then.

I shouldn't complain because I enjoy planning but I just wish I'd get a little imput and not have to make all the decisions. I actually really enjoy planning a vacation and researching it before we go. Next summer we are planning on going to Utah and Vegas and as soon as we picked that as our destination I had to run out to Barnes & Noble and AAA and pick up some books to read on what to see and do :goodvibes

I know what you mean Cheryl. I don't mind the planning that much, but a little input would be nice too. But just sometimes you want to let someone else make the decisions instead. :cloud9:

Come with us sometime Nancy and I will take care of it all. Friends of ours went to Vegas once with us and didn't have to do a thing.

I'm holding out for a 4 nighter on the Wonder with you guys. I'm saving all my pennies for one before the BOBer cruise sometime. I won't be able to wait until October of 09 to do Disney. :goodvibes

Jeff, fingers crossed something pans out SOON! Can't believe you are having to worry about this 1 month out.

That's why I love going on vacation with Lori--she takes care of most things or reminds me what I need to do!;)

I love planning too, but would love some substantive (sp?) input along the way. If anything, it spreads the responsibilty if something goes wrong, because you know they'll blame you if it does. Also, you know that it is something they want to do.

As for books, AAA has a lot. We just got the ones on all the National Parks in UT the other weekend.

Funny you use that word. It is used in a ceremony that we have at school. It is the word that all the kids have trouble pronouncing each year. :confused3

I picked up the Utah and Nevada AAA books and the National Parks book they had for Utah along with a Utah state parks book they had too at AAA too. I also bought the Frommer's Utah book and have been reading that one on my lunch at work. Looks like lots to see and do in that area :thumbsup2

We loved Zion and Bryce. I wish we had been able to spend more time at each, esp Zion. I would have loved to do more short hikes. We only had time for two tiny ones.

WHen did you have time to paint?:confused3

Morning. I'm heading off to work. Have a great day everyone.

We dropped Alex off at church camp yesterday with Tanya's DD. They were excited to see each other and be at camp they barely could even tell us goodbye.;) And the funny thing is we usually have to talk them into going each year. And then they absolutely love it.:goodvibes

They were even more embarrassed by us telling them goodbye this year! THey just wanted us to disappear! They had beautiful weather today--I hope it continues!:goodvibes

Now I just need 2 more camps for the week...........maybe a Mother Goose potty camp for a little guy I know that has suddenly stopped sleeping in his bed and finds ours just sooooo comfy! And a camp for a little girl that on the second day of Pre-K day camp found a boyfriend!:scared1: I'm thinking she would like a cinnamon camp but she will always go to camp VERY close to home!:lmao: Don't know if we can trust this little one.:cutie: Warning to all mothers with little boys...........watch your boys carefully on the cruise or they will be given lots of hugs from a certain little prissy girl from Va.:rotfl2:

I would have brought either one (but not both :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) home with me!

Good nite all. Busy days getting ready for a church event. I just hope the weather is nice that day--it will all be so nice. It's our homecoming Sunday and we're going to more effort than usual.

Tomorrow I need to deliver the youth t-shirts, set up the LCD projector, and get a few more flower pots ready to decorate the lawn and photo spot.
