O.K. Here's a tough one:

Budgets: $139
Moderates: $209

Nickelodeon Hotel: $272

The Nick has all those waterslides too. And if we're only looking at one day in the parks, might be a good option.

Does anyone know, do the hotels right next to Downtown Disney, I believe they are "Good Neighbor" hotels, get transportation to the parks?

Is it WDW transportation?

Could you pick the bus up from DTD or do you have to show a resort KTTW card?

Hello Andy.

Enjoying the weather again today?

We're just posting about the DIS meet in WDW over Xmas this year.

You coming down? If not, can I rent your place? Moderates are $210 and Budgets are $140. Those are usually the prices for Deluxe and Moderates, respectively.

Can you tell I travel off-season?

I'm going to have a chat with the wifey-poo later. Hazel is on her way home from her Bible study group right now.

It's cloudy and cool, but it is still quite nice. We will be getting heavy rains later, then the temps are going to drop again.............:headache:

What about the Swan and Dolphin. Do you get early entry from those two properties since they are not owned by WDW?

Mind shooting me a PM with the code?

Is it FL only?

Will do, my boss' secretary gave me the code, I think she has used it all over the county.

I just heard Brett Favre retired........:sad1:

Ok, now I'm really jealous....all these people talking about WDW for Christmas!

Seriously, that's awesome Karen - glad you can enjoy a nice vacation.

Wish I could, too....not in the cards for us though.

I'm sure that talk will be a short one. Like I said, you are so there.

Weather here is cloudy too. Suz was saying something about a system coming in from the west that they need to watch the track of. It could be night and day depending on how far north or south it goes. They've missed on the last 3 predictions.

We're at 80.5" of snow for this season so far. 10th snowiest. If we get 3 more inches, we will move all the way up to 4th place.

The snowiest was either 107.9" or 109.7". I can't remember which it was. I don't see us getting that much more.

At least the warm temps over the past couple days (only about 32-40, but warm enough to melt snow), really got rid of a lot of the snow cover.

Spring is around the corner. :cool1:

It is a bus like Mears. We stayed at the Hilton a few years ago for New Years and just walked over to DTD and grabbed a bus there. Nothing was said to us. Very easy.

Were you the one telling me they charge a resort fee there on top of the room rate and taxes?

They do. Last checked it was $12 per night. May have gone up as that was last year.

Thanks Andy.

Yeah, Brett announced this morning. I'm surprised since they would have a shot next year and with the draft being a deep one this year, they could have picked up the people they needed.

Wish I bet the under on the number of wins next year before today. I'm guessing 8-8 at best.

We stayed offsite one time at a Quality Inn in Kissimmee and there was shuttle service, but I don't remember if it was free back then or not. Angelina was about 4 years old I think, she's now 17........

I may look that route then.

There is an Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista that has a breakfast each morning and a manager reception (drinks/snack) from 5-7 each night. It is not much more than the Moderates (only about $226) and it would be a two room suite.

I also saw the Hilton. I think that was $269.

If we only plan on 1 day in the parks, I'm thinking I don't need to be in WDW. Although, I've never not stayed in WDW when there.

Hazel said she doesn't mind, but said, "Depends if Angelina wants to go or not." I said, "If she wants her Christmas gifts, she will go!!!" :rotfl:

We'll see what happens, but I'm for it!!! :thumbsup2

I've got to get ready to go back to work, see ya later.......

It was about $300 a night with a $10/12 Car Vally charge, the jolly cost that much i sort of just said "sod it just pay"....

But just remember to check the bill we had 2x$12 when the car never moved and a $240 spa treatment fat boy never had....:scared1:

:sad2: :sad2:

Karen - you lucky bu**er, off to florida for xmas. Will santa know where to leave Ellis's pressies:rotfl:
That a real good price, which hotel are you in or have you booked your own villa. We have always wanted to go at xmas, it will be sooooo special:woohoo:
You are truly ruined by that husband of yours.:cheer2:

We're just in a hotel on I Dirve - Neil will not do disney hotels and we dont intend on doing the disney parks much this trip - it will be more seaworld, aquatica and universal etc - we'll probably get the flex ticket and then do one day in Disney - I soooo love that xmas parade

Theirs a shock,Karen wants to pack...:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I WANNA MAKE T SHIRTS TOO!

Great News. :cool1:

Guess I need to start looking into FL for Xmas week now. Thanks a lot Karen. This will cost me a fortune.

I told Suz, she only gets 1 day in the parks that week. I hate crowds. There should be enough other stuff we can do to have fun. Maybe a waterpark one day, the beach another.

You need to PM me the details of your trip.

Will do - pm you later.:thumbsup2

Do you think you'll be able to make it? - it would be sooo fab to see you all again.:cool1:

13 days! :scared1: We haven't had a holiday like that in years! I'll talk to Woody tonight. We may be able to take a long weekend. :thumbsup2

UK'ers dont do long haul for less than 2 weeks normally - this will actually be our shortest trip ever to USA. Our first trip was 4 weeks, then we usually do 3 weeks or at least 17 days. Uk'ers get more annual holiday than you though so its easier for us to take longer vacations.

I so hope we could meet up if you make it!

Ive got $20 thats Say's Neil is in the loft as we speak bringing down the cases.....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Congrats Karen,no Disney Santa for us am afraid,i was goner say "Take pictures" ....But i think we all know Karen and her camera are rarely parted and when it comes to taking Pics she'd give Cass a good run for a money........Bet the little fella is climbing the walls with excitement about now too....:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

We have to go to Greece for a fortnight first so I need to pack for that in July, but I'll be packing shortly after we get back:lmao:

Piccies - you know me too well, I am click happy when it comes to cameras.

It will be another "photo-trippie" as I dont do words like our Benda
