We went to Vero back in Oct '06. We're not DVC members, but got a good rate for the room.

Suz was sick and spent almost the whole time in the room, so DS and I were in the pool and playing mini-golf the whole time. We didn't really get to the beach until the last morning (DS was upset we didn't go down to the sand or looking for shells).

The weather wasn't perfect when we went - big rain a couple times. Good reason to get back down there.

We had good weather, but it was chilly a few mornings, that's why we had on the sweatshirts. One day while Lina and I were in the water, two baby sharks swam behind us. Luckily, Lina didn't see them or I know she would have screamed. After they swam by I told Lina it was time to get out of the water, once back on shore I told her what I saw. I kept looking for momma shark, but never did see her. We weren't that far out, the water was only up to about my knees.

So I'm finally trying to wrap up open items for my little tirp in August.

What's a tirp?

Now if McCain wins the election in November, he would take office in January. Her b-day is in March.

Never really went in the water on the Atlantic side. Been up to my shoulder in Clearwater though.

That's the way we're (or should I say Suz) is leaning. She wants to save the $.

At first she was like, let's do the shuttle. But now that we have the cost, she backed away from that.

We reserved the Best Western Long Beach in CA. $117/night + tax and they have a free shuttle to the port. I don't recall the DS listing that one on their site, so should be quiet that morning.

I like being on Team VA, but my in my heart (and I bet it is the same for Rob and Walt) I will always be on "Team Cajun."
