Karen...I think Cass said that the tickets were sold out for 31st (just in case you was thinking of going then).

It'll be the 22nd if we do it.

Thomas is in 1st grade this year - I really like his teacher - she's been really supportive and willing to work with us. I get a sheet home every day telling me how his day was (stayed on task, paid attention, etc). She's also worked with ADHD kids before, which I think is a big help.

We loved Margaritaville too. I HAD THE MOST ENORMOUS COCKTAIL... OH AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT TOO

This one is at a casino just a few miles from our house. It was the best burger I ever had!

We book a few months ago too and it does feel like it's taking forever! We're planning on Med 2011, so THAT one will be A LOOOONNNNG wait...

And then after we can say, "less than a month". I was telling someone about our crusie just today and they asked when we were going. Elaine beat me to it and said, "in a month"

Good afternoon/evening everyone, or morning to west coast BOBers.

Back from an absolutely delightful lunch. I have been wanting to try Margaritaville ever since it opened about a year ago. We finally did today and I had a Cheeseburger in Paradise. I think it was the best cheeseburger I have ever had! It was incredible! Walking out, I said to Elaine, "I think I just found my new favorite restaurant."

Back to work...doing grant reporting.

I'll have to try that.

I think that we ate there in Grand Cayman. I didn't like that one, but it may have been sticker shock. I spent well over $50 for a kids meal that the kids shared, a hamburger and a salad with sodas for the 4 of us.

At the casino for the two of us, it was $25 plus tip. I would have spent that at Chili's or Friendly's. We each had a soft drink and an entree. Elaine had a huge taco salad that she barely put a dent in. She said it was the best taco salad she ever had. Then again, she kept stealing a bite here and there from my cheeseburger!

Sounds like that Alaskan cruise is too pricey.

As I said before, Bob really wants to do it, but other lines are cheaper and we'd like to find one that might combine a few days on land with the cruise.

Airfare to where they fly out of in Canada is pricey on top of the cruise also.
