Chris - I wanted to let you know, you are NOT getting out of getting a DiSTag gift from me so easily!! (Did Mike tell you how un-crafty I am??? :headache::mad:.....) Yours is already made, so too bad, so sad - you are still getting a gift from me.

One thing we do in Scouts is something called SWAPS - Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere. Swaps are still the perfect way for Girl Scouts to meet each other and promote friendship. Each one is a memory of a special event or Girl Scout Sister. One thing I have learned is that not all people who go to an event will have SWAPS to trade, however ettiquette of SWAPS says even if you DON'T have something to trade, accept a SWAP from those who do have them.

So, Mr. FireFighter - your cabin is getting a SWAP from me! (in the form of a DisTag gift!)

BTW: Speaking for myself only - not everyone on the Tag list!
:hug::love:

Good luck with your move!! 31 days people!!!!!:yay::woohoo:

Wow I remember when my girls did gs swaps. It was so much fun. Friendship pins etc. I cant wait till Asiah gets to do one. It is so neat to get trinkets from everyone. I remember my girls making all kinds of things. Remember I said i am going through Girl Scouts the second time around. You sure are bringing back old good memories. Kristen is 35 and Erika is 30 and I remember it like it was yesterday.

Thank you Karen. To all of my fellow cruisemates, this was a very hard decision to make. However, I wanted to make something special, and the plan I had would have taken four to six weeks. Also, when we had signed up for dis tag, we were not planning on moving. However, the move has turned into a stretched out experience, and I am having a hard time finding anytime to do anything. To all of you, I send out our sincere apologies. If anyone has already completed their gifts, please pm me, and I will try to reimburse you for them. Once again, I sincerely apologize.

No worries - just glad it was just the DIS tag and not real bad news. :goodvibes

Awwww... Hugs to Maddie!! (Becca is like that too - and she's almost 8!!)

Thanks, Angie!

You can do it, Steve!!! You are trying to get to 3000, I'll try to get to 1000 - we are about the same # away from our goals.

Can you imagine - 2 poems so close to each other??? :rotfl2:

I don't know about yours, but mine is going to be nothing to get excited about. I've only written one other poem in my life and that was to Laura right after we married. (it wasn't bad, I was inspired!)

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

One month to go!!!

It seems like I've been waiting forever for this trip!

2 years! that's a heckuva wait time!

I did a bit more packing today:yay:

Still no luck on the "find a new dress" front though:rolleyes:

I might have to wear the same one to Palo as semi formal:rolleyes1

I'm upstairs keeping out of the way:rolleyes1

Neils "attempting" to fit the new dishwasher tonight:rolleyes1

I can hear lots of banging:headache:... its integrated and he cant figure out how to get the cupboard door off the front of the old appliance:confused3

Could be a loooooong evening:rolleyes1

Lumieres - Thursday lunch 12pm - is everyone still doing this??

and then the Bob photo afterwards?:yay:

We have booked Palo brunch that day, but I think I'll cancel that because I dont want to miss Lumiere Bob lunch

I'll still have the Palo dinner to look forward to on Wednesday evening.

Nope all your!! Darn this thing called work!!

Another 80 degree day here. This is not your normal late Sept almost Oct weather in Maine. Im sure we will pay for it later:rotfl::rotfl:.
How's the weather in Fla today are you still getting rain?

Dan
PS Nancy thinks she will have to finish out the week at school. She was hoping to be done today

Ooooh, its all gone quiet downstairs:scared1:

Hmmmmmmmm, is that good or bad news do you think? Do I have a new dishwasher or a pile of old metal and broken kitchen cabinet:lmao:

Does anyone have the link to order MNSSHP tickets online?

Also - can anyone tell me - is it the same price on the gate as it is online?

Karen, As far as I know the BOB Lunch is still on. When I get onboard, I'm going to make sure I don't schedule my Brunch at Palos to conflict.

Good afternoon/evening everyone, or morning to west coast BOBers.

Back from an absolutely delightful lunch. I have been wanting to try Margaritaville ever since it opened about a year ago. We finally did today and I had a Cheeseburger in Paradise. I think it was the best cheeseburger I have ever had! It was incredible! Walking out, I said to Elaine, "I think I just found my new favorite restaurant."

Back to work...doing grant reporting.
