Morning guys.
Just checking in realy quick. Back to cleaning.......:headache:

COOLIO! Careful with that thing. It is addictive. I got to the point where I couldn't go anywhere without it! Then, I wanted internet access in more places and it ultimately ended up with me getting an iPhone. Here's my list of favorite apps:

Acro Bible NIV Plus: (don't get this one right now because they are having technical difficulties with the installation of the new version. But once done it's wonderful to have the entire Bible in such a compact form.

WDW mini-maps: they have one for each park. if you're planning a trip to WDW and arent familiar with their layouts this will be nice.

Countdown+: This is a fun app that countdowns the days until special events.

Documents To Go: The best word processor for the iPhone/iTouch. But their spreadsheet is not ready for prime time yet.

Dots Free: fun game.

eReader or Kindle: apps for reading eBooks. I've used both and they're both great I lean toward Kindle because of the Amazon selection is great and downloading is easy. You'll never want to carry a book around again!

Fandongo: for finding out what's at the movies.

Flood it: fun game.

Ged-View: if you're into Genealogy.

Peggle: just like the computer game. very fun!

Phone flix: for accessing your NetFlix account

Photobucket: for accessing you photobucket account.

Spreadsheet: If you absolutely have to have a spreadsheet program and can't wait until Docs-to-go finishes theirs.

Sudoku (free): fun game.

Toy Story Mania: Awesome! A must have!

Wooo!! Thanks for the suggestions Steve!! I have to agree with you about the Kindle App - I am HOOKED!!! The only downside is that you can't share your books with friends - but I love reading on the app - is FANTASTIC (and I didn't have to shell out $299 for a Kindle!)

time to ellipicalize. whoops, i owe Cass another quarter for using her word.
:rolleyes1

I wish I had a good Bible app for my BlackBerry Storm. I can't seem to find one, but maybe I am not looking in the right place. I'll try the BlackBerry App Store again. That is where I get my apps.

Eh, found the Acro Bible NIV but it is $20 bucks!

Cheaper than a good Bible by a lot, so perhaps I should spring for it.

Chis, I really like the Acro Bible. it's easy to use and customizable. Really bummed that the Apple version is buggy right now. They say they are working with Apple to figure out the problem. I still have it on my iTouch. Just stupidly deleted it off my iPhone to try to get the upgrade app to load. Now I have to sit in church with the iTouch on one leg for the Bible and the iPhone on the other to write my notes. Major techno geekiness.

I think that $20 is what it was for the iPhone too. Cool that they have it availiable for the Blackberry.

Christian, I could lick the plate when I'm done with that stuff! :rotfl: At least you'll relate when I say I can barely wait until I'm home to finish up the leftovers. ;)

Good morning BOBers!

Whatzup for today? We're going to be painting the trim on the outside of the house (well, Chuck will be painting...I'll be making sure he does it right ;)) and then Tony and Stacy are coming over for dinner and some cruise talk. I'll be posting pictures of the shutter colors for you all to vote on. I can't decide between the black or hunter green.

Later peeps.:cutie:

Have a great day Nancy. Miss talking to you. I am so busy I am on all different times of day. Whenever I can find the time. Walt is golfing right now. I should be picking up and putting things away from our last two adventures.

Holy cow, peeps!! It took me a while to catch up. I think I skipped a couple of pages.

Anyone heard about baby Madeline?

Chris, we are going to have to trade stories of our NY Italian families. My grandfather and great uncle were part of 'the family' for real.

Good books to read:

Secret life of Bees
Anything by Elizabeth Berg
Anything by Maeve Binchey (especially Tara Road)
Anything by Fannie FLagg who wrote Fried Green Tomatoes
A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson (hilarious)
Joy Luck Club
Memoirs of a Geisha
Before Women had Wings

Loved My Uncle Vinney and Marisa Tomei.

O.k. am I caught up?

Going to the farmer's market today and then to my parents house so my mom can start working on my formal night dress. THe last time I wore I Sean was 5 months old and I had a lot of baby fat

Woooooooo hooooo Jen!! That was my Christmas present from 2008, but then 3 months later we upgraded our cells to the Iphone (which does everything the itouch does except it has a phone)

Isn't it great???? Have fun playing with it and figuring out all the fun features!!

I LOVE it! DH got one last year, and I have been a bit envious...

The coverage for the iphone isn't great in our area yet (plus we have about 1 1/2 years on our cell contract) so I was happy to wait on the iphone for now.

So, anyone with an iphone or itouch, feel free to recommend your favorite apps!

Too cool. Thanks Cass. :woohoo:

OK folks, here are a couple pictures of the front of the house. I'm trying to decide between the hunter green shutters (on the left) or the black shutters (on the right) for the rest of the house. You really can't see the roof but the shingles are black. The new siding is Pearl (not white).

I really like the green but am afraid that there will be too many colors on the house with it. Black roof, white trim, Pearl Siding and red brick. I also think it might look too Christmasey.

The storm windows are not in the picture either. All the windows are trimmed in black right now, so try to visualize that in there too.

DECISIONS, DECISIONS!!! :scared1:

Steve, still going with the green now that you see it?
