Patrick started his summer job Monday, I got him in at the front desk at one of our condo's. Not what he wanted- beach service, but it's a job. He like to talk to people so he should at least enjoy it. He loves all the grumpy people that are not happy with their room, chair hogs etc....

When Emily has her driver's license, it'll be better I think. She's limited to what she can apply for, relying on me to take her everywhere.

AKV--but offsite one day before and one day after. I don't like to waste my points on a half-day, so we're staying at a Rodeway Inn for $33 a night, thanks to Travel Zoo. We did this with Comfort Inn at Christmas time, and it worked out so well.

We do the same, usually drive after work and stay at a cheap price line hotel the first night since all we do is sleep.

Enjoy it, now I cringe when the phone rings and they are out. Ds # 1 is in Vegas right now, I am trying not to worry, but he is only 23.....

Do you think I could make a rule that she can only drive on base until we move in 2011? :rotfl:

Good luck, we were at DMV on Ds # 1 birthday so we didn't lose any time we made ds #2 wait to get his grades up....a little blackmail works wonders.....

Good evening everyone. The Yanks are finally beating the Sox! Elaine ran out to Walmart, so I have the house to myself for a little bit as the kids are sleeping.

At the Submarine Base in Groton, there are Budget Trucks, U-haul and Penske Truck rental places all adjacent to the main gate. When we moved here I had to return my truck down there to Budget.
