No, they live in Louisiana. On a side note, her DH is from Wisconsin--Superior. I saw her a little over a year ago when I met her in Baltimore (shehad a convention for work), but I haven't seen my BIL or the girls (ages 7, and 5) in 2 years. This is their first trip, and I am just as excited as they are. They will be getting the "treatment" at BBB.

Those Fairygodmothers would have wide eyes when they'd lift up my hair and see lots of little short hair where my scar is. They stick straight out and they're kinda course--and full of grays. Of course I hear chicks dig scars...I can't believe I just said that.

Howdy All,

I just wanted to drop by and say hello and to say thanks for those who have been sending me good wishes and praying for me about my recent surgery. Speaking of which, all went well with the surgery, but for the first 3 days after surgery I wished at times that I had died. Morphine and I do not get along very well and I was sick to my stomach for three days. Once I was able to start eating, I ate everything in sight, LOL!!!

I had a bit of a scare this past Tuesday as one of my docs thought I might have had a blood cot in my right leg. I had to lay in bed for 7 hours on Tuesday until someone was available to do an ultrasound on my leg. I finally got the results from the ultrasound late Tuesday(5:00pm) that the fear of the blood clot was negative.

Another reason for posting tonight, after such a long absence on this thread, is that I would like to say, "If I had offended, or upset anyone, in any way, shape or form over the past few months, I am extremely sorry and please accept my apology." I have done a great deal of soul searching the past couple of days and I am trying to make everything right.
