Good morning to everyone. Today we're celebrating my grandson's 16th birthday (really is Mon). Then I'm taking my granddaughter to one of the 2 kid parties she was invited to. Her mom is working so this is a favor to my son so he doesn't have to go to both of them! I'm such a good Nana!

When in November? My latest grandbaby was born the day after my birthday - Nov 18. Brings me to six - 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Two grandsons will be with us on this cruise - guess that means we'll HAVE to cruise Disney again...wouldn't want to be unfair!

My oldest grandson is Nov. 17 and so is my DIL, who is his step-mother! We thought that was quite a coincidence when she came into the family!

Yes, we're on the gulf coast - Ft Myers. It took me over ten years to convince DH to move, but now he regrets not listening to me a long time ago.

My DH wants to go there sometime during Red Sox spring training. Are you a fan?

OK, so, first, it was not that easy to find this thread..the "find your meet" thread still references #1 (612 pages long!). I was lamenting how I would never get through all that when I finally found thread #23 (the 22nd thread)!! Maybe someone could update the "finder" thread, or maybe the last post on each thread (before closing) could point to the new thread? (If they do, just ignore this - haven't been there yet)

Now, I don't know whether to be intimidated or to join right in, so I'm opting for the latter...
here's our info:
kdzgon = Chuck & Laurie, with 2 DGS, 6 1/2 and 4 1/2 when we sail (kids made me add the "1/2"s!), Florida
We have been on a number of cruises, but this will be our first "official" Disney cruise (I took my kids on the "big Red Boat" many years ago) and we are pretty excited!

By any chance, does anyone have a "Reader's Digest" version of all these threads

I have not yet attempted all the other threads, but the links to the excursions in the original thread are no longer valid.

I actually thought to look for a "meet" thread because I was trying to find out what a "fish extender" is - kind of a convoluted trip but, hey...

Anyway, happy to be here, and I hope to meet you all in person this October!

Hey guys, just checking in on the new thread...thanks Jeff for directions

So we spent Wednesday night at the Children's Hospital. Kira's cheek and chin were very swollen They believe that she has swollen lymph nodes probably caused by bacteria from a sore she has on her chin.

Thursday morning the swelling had spread from her right side to both sides. She is on antibiotics and we're hoping that will do the trick, if not we have to go back to the hospital

good morning, I'm just getting ready to head out the door for another crazy day at work.

The other day we had a patient run out the ambulance bay wearing nothing but an open backed patient gown.... Jump into an ambulance and started to drive away. Luckily about 4 of us saw her go and jumped into the open rear doors and pulled her out after hitting the emergency brake.

Ya just can't make this stuff up!

Sarah was on the news tonight!!!!!
Her special ed class runs a coffee shop and her school was the school of the week for the local station. She got some serious face time, almost started crying.

just a quick hi and bye from me...I hope everyone is doing well. We had a softball game tonight, and prom tomorrow, after lifeguard training. If you're so inclined, say a little prayer for my girl. She's going to the prom for the first time and I'm going to be a nervous wreck. It'll be one of the first times she is in a car with a teen driver. We've had many talks about drinking and driving, and she has assured us that if the boy who is driving (not her date) has a drink, she will call us to pick her up. Her boyfriend, Ryan, told her also that there's no way he would let her get in a car with someone who's been drinking. I still worry. Emily is a good kid and so is Ryan, but good kids get into trouble and get in accidents everyday.

I had to drive at about 10 mile an hour because I couldnt see anything in front of me!

Then, just as wuickly as it started - it stopped

We have had sunshine and showers all day - just like April is supposed to be like. Is it ever going to get nice. Can you believe that we are going to get a nice summer.
