I finally caught up...good work.

We have another grey start today, but I'm not worried as I have a day off today. Mind you, I will be busy. Lots of housework, grocery shopping and then getting my flowers and stuff ready for tomorrow.

1st - Ironing pile.

It's time, its time...
Now to find a rhyme...
Will I score a FO
or fall further below?

CaptChris is my name
DISing is my game
Looking toward October
when we will board not the Wonder
but the Magic
in all its glistening schtick (:lmao:lame I know)

So 3,000 it is,
Here's to 3,000 more!

Did I claim a FO??

:yay::woohoo:Way to go Chris - great poem:woohoo::yay:

Someone talk to me! :goodvibes

No one was talking at work today. Seems like there was a big blow up yesterday. Good thing I was off and missed the fireworks.

No one would return my emails either or I would just get a snotty response.

Hmmmm, maybe it's me. :guilty:

:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
hope you feel better karen.:wizard:

when robin had her back problems, she said it was from her "carrying me" all those years.:lmao::rotfl2::hug:

Good morning peeps:goodvibes

Nice lot of pages for me to read this morning:thumbsup2

Its grey and misty here this morning. Ellis has a school cross country run this morning. (they just run round the playing filed a few times), but I've promised I'll be there to cheer him and his friends on, so it was a very early start for me this morning to get stuff done to free up time later.

Later peeps - have a great day:goodvibes

Don't jump around and cheer too much Karen, you don't want to mess up your back even more.

Good Luck to Ellis and his pals. :yay:

I just got back.:cheer2: He did good:cutie:... he's not the fastest runner bless him, but he tried and thats all that matters.

I had to admire two of the teaching assistants.. there is a boy in Ellis' year with physical disablities, they walked/ran with him holding his hands all the way so he could participate.:cheer2: go teachers:cheer2:... they got the biggest cheer as they crossed the line.:thumbsup2

I think the older boy in a wheelchair is "racing" this afternoon too.:cutie: The course is flat enough for him to participate. I love it when everyone is included. I also got annoyed with the boys' moms. The boys were first to race, and they left straight after! They wouldnt stay to cheer on the girls in the same class! - meanies! - I stayed and was whooping and cheering at the finish line:cheer2::yay::cheer2: I was even cheering for children I didnt know as they crossed the finish line:rotfl:... if no-one else was there to cheer them along then at least they had daft old me clapping and cheering:cheer2::goodvibes

I have 20 minutes to eat my sandwich before I have to go back there for lunchtime... If I'd planned it better I should have taken a sandwich and sat in the staff room for a while to save all the walking, but not to worry, every step counts and my backs not too bad this morning.

Ahhhh, that's my kind of weather! :cloud9:

I can't think of anything either. Nothing for Joanne, nothing for accountant either. But how about Roger? Dodger, Lodger. Animal Kingdom Lodger? :goodvibes Sorry, I'm just being goofy now.
Be as goofy as you like, I may try adding the two of these together.

Question for anybody.......

A lady I work, with who also loves Disney, is planning a trip in August. She is wanting to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort but not sure. She has read some questionable comments about it. Which area would you stay in and why do you like it so much? I have told her that I remember reading that a few of you have stayed there and loved it. She has 2 kids ages 13 and 10.

Thanks for the help.

Good morning everyone...

I just have time for a quick drive by post today. I have to go support one of the church members who has a court appearance today, so I am DISing really quick as I eat breakfast.

This afternoon I have to run a teenager from the church who is going to a Retreat in Pennsylvania to the meeting spot in Western CT.

Hopefully by the time I get home, I can put my feet up and watch the Yankees/Cubs Exhibition game in the new stadium tonight. :thumbsup2

I go all the time to my grandkids school to cheer everyone on. :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: Most of the time my daughter is not able to so I am there to support them. Everyone at the school knows me as Elijah or Asiah's gramma.:banana: Diane

Lori, CBR is my favorite resort. We love staying in Aruba because it is so nice and quiet back there. We love the long walk over to the Old Port Royale but since my kids are older, we never used the main pool which I heard is amazing now. We've stayed in Jamaica too and liked it just as much. The kids used the buses but Chuck and I take our rental car to the parks instead. We loved all the different choices of foods in the food court there too. I love the salads and turkey sandwiches at Montego Bay.:thumbsup2 I'm thinking a stay at CBR will be in our plans one way or another this October, either before or after the cruise. :cloud9:

Good for you Di.:thumbsup2 I always feel sorry for the kids who have no-one. Like at Ellis' school play the other month - there was just the one child who had no-one watching the show. I knew his Mom couldnt be there so I made an extra fuss of him and took photos for her and got them developed:goodvibes I feel privilidged (sp) to be able to go:goodvibes

I cant imagine you any other way:hug:. Grandma Goose is a cute name:goodvibes:cutie:

Had a nice lunchtime today. All the kids were good (for a change!):rolleyes1..

The teachers had a party in the staff room at lunchtime, so I told my teacher not to hurry back and to have a little extra party time. :dance3:

She's a lovely woman and a great teacher:teacher:, she deserved a few extra minutes of R&R.
