Good morning Peeps!!!! I have a lot of catching up to do on the Dis. :surfweb: Real life has been interferring with my dissing and that has got to change. :rotfl2:

January, February, May, June, July ,August ,September ,October ,November, December

:rolleyes1

I did think of putting down all 12 months myself:rotfl2:

Karen - Is the back all better or is working 5 days a week taking it toll?

More or less better now. I still put the heat pack on it after school and again inthe evening to ease it but its about 80% now:thumbsup2

Is Mack all better now?

Question of the Day:

What's the first thing you plan to do when you get on board?

Well, first I need to stop squeeling like an excited 6 year old:yay: :rotfl2: , after that I'll go eat and then grab myself my first cocktail:banana:

Boring answer from me...we're going to lunch. however, last time we did Parrot Cay, and I think we might try Topsiders and head to the Mickey pool after!

We did Parrot last time too. We were one of the first onbaord and it was lovely and peaceful after the initial excitement. I dont remember eating... I jsut kept repeating "we're onboard!:yay: , we're actually onboard!"

We might try Topsiders too.

I wish I was staying there....:sad2:

Oh well, I guess I'll just make a grand entrance at the port!
. I'm hoping to be at port at he by10!

Snap! - we booked the villa for an extra night so we're travelling down the next morning too.

We have red nose day over here on Friday - its a charity day and we have to wear silly hats to school (me included!)

Ellis and I are wearing our Mickey ears - I have adapted the ears to look like the red nose logo:goodvibes

And before you ask.... no, there will be no photos:lmao:

Howdy All...........

Steve--I do have my old laptop with me. Best Buy transferred everything to my new laptop, but I didn't get a CD from them.

That's Okay. At your leisure you can remove the HD from the machine then store it and recycle the machine. Removing the HD from a laptop is really easy. You can generally get instructions on doing it from googling you model number and "removing a Hard Drive" It is usually 2-4 screws in a panel under the machine, once opened you will find a silver box a little larger than a pack of cards. That's the HD and then simply unplug it. Now you have a COMPLETE archive of your old HD. If you ever remember that there is something there that you didn't get when BestBuy transferred you data you'll now still have it.

I remembered last night the name of the other one we were thinking - WISHES.

But Fantasy works, too bad it is also the name of a Carnival ship.

That's it. I'd forgotten. I was wracking my brains last night trying to remember.

On our first cruise with RCCL, we used a hotel shuttle that didn't leave for the ship until 1:45 or so. I think it was after 2 when we boarded. We didn't have much time on ship after eating before the muster drill.

On our first DCL cruise, (last cruise) we arrived at the port a little after 10 and had a #4 boarding pass. Elaine was registered by the time I returned from Budget. We just hung out for about an hour, watched the shuttle go up, then boarded around 11:50 or so. It seemed we had the ship to ourselves. I think we were the first "customers" at Topsiders.

I think the plan is for those that aren't staying at the Radisson to just all meet up somewhere in the terminal. We shouldn't be too hard to miss. There are probably 20 families staying at the Radisson so we will already be there waiting and doing our thing.

I'm glad I'll be with y'all

Home for lunch, then only a couple more hours of work.....:yay: :yay: :yay:

I'm getting off an hour or so early today........

All I need to do this afternoon is clean my work car up a bit, it's so dirty from the snow, ice and salt last week. After that, I am HOME FREE!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Karen, I see NO reason to stop squealing like a 6 year old....I will be doing the same thing! I'll race you to the #2 boarding passes Saturday!

No photos??? Karen, you disappoint me!

Woohoo!   I was looking at flights and decided to check the school calendar for the Fall. It turns out that Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday November 3rd are Teacher In Service Work Days. NO SCHOOL!!! :woohoo:

Our after cruise WDW trip just went from one day to three!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:

Matthew

FAVORITE PORT - Castaway Cay (Of course, I've only been there and Nassau so it wasn't much of a contest.)

Actually, you've been to 7 others....they just weren't in the Caribbean!

I am not a fan of Key West. Although, on my cruise in May we are going there. There is a ghost walk I am interested in doing. I love me a good ghost story.:thumbsup2

I love the ghost stories too! I went on the Queen Mary when they were doing ghost tours. It was cool!

I obviously live in the wrong country :rolleyes1

I remembered last night the name of the other one we were thinking - WISHES.

Carnival owns a ship named Dream too! I like the Dream, it is soooo Disney but I thought they could have gone with maybe Fantasia or Fantasmic instead of Fantasy for the other ship since that word brings to mind less-than-Disney connotations :rolleyes1

Question of the Day:

What's the first thing you plan to do when you get on board?

As per usual, up to Topsiders so Rob and Kira can eat and then out to Pluto's so I can eat ;) I am really hoping that Kira is potty trained so she can play in the Mickey Pool during my lunch and during the BOB meet :goodvibes

Beth got a new job too. She is working 12 hour night shifts though. The good part is that she is only 10 minutes from work now.

Have a great day,

Matthew :cool2:

Congrats to Beth :cool1: :cheer2:

Has anyone set up a DISmeet at the port prior to boarding the ship?

Matthew

The terminal will be a giant DIS meet :lmao: I don't know how many people will be making BOB shirts but last time, there were KK shirts EVERYWHERE!!!! :woohoo: It was an awesome sight and I think non-Disers were a little jealous they weren't part of the fun group :rotfl2: :lmao: And this time around, we have even more DISers :goodvibes

Not sure which line would be longer, yours or mine. :rotfl2:

Ummm yours.

:lmao:

I hate it when that happpens!!!

Nice to see you back AFEG :wave2:

Chris, have you and Hazel booked the Radisson yet? I saw that you were on the list for booking it but I haven't marked you as "booked" yet. :confused3
