HI Andy
I thought I got up early even being retired. I was up a 5:00 AM. But I guess you beat me:rotfl: .
Good luck with your new laptop. Our computor is working just fine.
Have a great day.

Dan

Thanks Dan.........:goodvibes

I had my alarm set for 5am, but I guess the fire department thought I should be up sooner today.........

Took the day off from going to the gym, had too many other things to do to get ready for vacation.

Well, my morning newspaper just arrived, guess I'll go check that over, then it will be time to get ready for work. Today is payday!!! :thumbsup2

Later...:wave2:

Are you driving or flying? That's a long haul to drive for a short trip. :drive:

Matthew

Oh, it's worth it - go for it!
Howdy All...........

A fire truck just went flying past our house with sirens blasting and scared the heebie jeebies out of me. I'm wide awake now, even though I was hoping to sleep a little later.........:rotfl:

Steve--I do have my old laptop with me. Best Buy transferred everything to my new laptop, but I didn't get a CD from them.

I think we are about 95% ready to go. Just a few last minute things needed to be put into our carry-ons before we leave for the airport later today.

Bryan told us last night that he will be in the PHL Tower watching our plane leave. I think I'm going to ask Lina to see if he could possibly get some pics from the tower as our plane is taking off.

I'm not sure if I will be getting online much today, so if I don't get back on, I will see all you fine folks later..........:wave2:

Have a Great Wednesday..........:goodvibes :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Andy - Have a great trip! I hope you get those pictures too - that would be great!

Karen - Is the back all better or is working 5 days a week taking it toll?

actually I have been heavy forever aswell.. the show is actually pretty inspiring..no one will ever loose that much that fast.. but heck if they can push it.. why not?..lol I haven't lost much in the weight department.. but inches are going.. my jeans are officially 3 inches to big in the waist! I have to pull them up constantly.. who know that would ever be a problem?..lol so always celebrate the little battles.. they grow to big ones eventually!! :cheer2:

ok stepping off soap box lol:lmao:

Congrats to you Bernie. Little goals are the best! I always had a "Goal Outfit". That helped me to just get to the next size.

Leave it to Scott to bring up my hair. He is so pleased with it. I guess as he keeps saying he is pleased that I decided to do it. I have always gotten my hair cut but it has always been the same style and straight. I have never gone out of my comfort zone. But this weekend I decided to take the plung. We added 3 layers, took of some length, and added bangs. I have not had bangs since I was a senior in high school. These are not the best pics but they are all I have right now. They were taken with my cell on my way out the door for work. One with glasses and one without.

I really liked the names. Like Jeff said the Disney Dream was no surprise but the Fantasy is rather nice.

I remembered last night the name of the other one we were thinking - WISHES.

But Fantasy works, too bad it is also the name of a Carnival ship.

Not exactly, CSR has recently upgraded to Queens.

Really? The whole property or just some rooms? This is a good thing.

I bet they did it because that is a convention hotel and the guest were demanding them.

Andy, have a good trip.

Lori, sorry to hear the girls aren't feeling better yet.

Karen, good morning back.

AFEG, well, you're AFEG, I can't type my comments hear. :lmao:

Question of the Day:

What's the first thing you plan to do when you get on board?

Too much to read back and quote....

Nice to see Lurking Lynn back.

A Fat English Gent: Welcome to the BOB cruise. I'm Nancy and will be cruising with DH Chuck. Jump in anytime and chat with us. ;)

Lori: I hope your babies feel better soon! :)

Matthew: Nice to see you back posting again. Where have you been?:confused3

Carrie & Scott: Nice to see you posting again too. Carrie, nice hairstyle. :thumbsup2

Andy: Have a nice relaxing vacation, dude. :cloud9:

And a Good Morning to everyone here.

Good morning everyone from rainy New England.

I remembered last night the name of the other one we were thinking - WISHES.

But Fantasy works, too bad it is also the name of a Carnival ship.
So is Dream...I believe the newest Carnival ship which will be based in PC in the fall is called Carnival Dream. There will be two ships called Dream in PC if Carnival keeps their Dream in PC through 2011.

Here is the info from Carnival's website.

Now open for reservations, it's time to start livin' the dream with our most visionary ship yet. Setting sail in September 2009, CARNIVAL DREAM was designed to be the largest and most innovative floating resort in our "Fun Ship" fleet. Among many amazing features, she will boast more outdoor deck space, more stateroom categories, the largest spa we've ever built, Carnival Waterworks and a new indoor/outdoor entertainment complex called Ocean Plaza. Once completed, this ship will literally be in a class all her own.

With our construction photo galleries, news and email alerts, you can follow along and watch as this DREAM becomes real.

Question of the Day:

What's the first thing you plan to do when you get on board?
Head up to Topsiders for lunch.:thumbsup2

Boring answer from me...we're going to lunch. however, last time we did Parrot Cay, and I think we might try Topsiders and head to the Mickey pool after!

Well, our first order of business is the arrive MUCH earlier than last time. We took the DCL bus from WDW and were among the last onboard.

LUNCH!!! :thumbsup2

They were starting to clean up already when we arrived last time. (Because we got on so late.)

On our first cruise with RCCL, we used a hotel shuttle that didn't leave for the ship until 1:45 or so. I think it was after 2 when we boarded. We didn't have much time on ship after eating before the muster drill.

On our first DCL cruise, (last cruise) we arrived at the port a little after 10 and had a #4 boarding pass. Elaine was registered by the time I returned from Budget. We just hung out for about an hour, watched the shuttle go up, then boarded around 11:50 or so. It seemed we had the ship to ourselves. I think we were the first "customers" at Topsiders.

And a Good Morning to everyone here.

It was just an extremely busy winter at work. I was devoting a lot of my time at work and at home to a major project. The good news is that I completed it and did a good job. Now I can focus on more enjoyable things like the DIS and planning for our upcoming trips.

Beth got a new job too. She is working 12 hour night shifts though. The good part is that she is only 10 minutes from work now.

Have a great day,

Matthew :cool2:
