So the new year is almost here..

Tomorrow we are having a family reunion kinda thing and I spent all day making veggie platters/ spinach dip and pasta salad.. man am I tired

We are attending a cousins wedding on New years eve and then party all night like it's 2009... yeah..lol

I hope everyone is doing well and hugs to those who need it and a extra one for the Dawg cause he will ask for one anyways..lol

Windy as He** here. We actually saw the sun today.



I actually was told I only had 3 more classes to go, but I got a phone call from Ashford University saying I am still shy 8 credit hours. That just took the wind out of my sails.

I haven't called them back yet... I'm trying to cool down. I was suppose to graduate April 9th.

It may be june now.

That's okay. Robin at least you will be graduating not much later. a couple months go by quick. You are doing great. Keep up the hard work. Diane

The parade was filmed the 5th adn 6th of December this year. They did have those swags up you were talking about but I"m sure it complicated things with the filming so temporarily took them down. Main Street was beautifully decorated.

Are you going to write a trip report. I really enjoyed your last one. Diane

It is really windy here too. It picked up late this morning, but now is really whipping.

We're due for snow tomorrow, 1"-2". We're heading to Green Bay though to see Grandma and they are expecting 2"-4". We'll be heading out early to get to the hotel and just hunker down. Luckily, it is a new hotel right across the street from the retirement community.

I have been so bad...(Not with Sully, Darn it!)

I've had a hard time getting motivated. I've been doing terrible on WW and I think I've gained 5 lbs in the last 2 weeks.

But I'm going to get back in to it...

How about you? You were kicking butt!!

I have not done well eating wise since Thanksgiving. I probably gained 10 pounds. I will have to pay at Weight Watchers this month. What a downer then after the 1st of the year start the new program and get back on the ball. I eat anything I want right now without any guilt. I have not done that since I started weight watchers. After we go to Walt's mom's house this weekend I will be back on track. I have to. My clothes are alittle tight. I wont for sure fit in my Harley jeans and leathers. Weight watchers has a new program that started two weeks ago. I haven't even read the material yet. How bad is that!!!!! Diane

Mike did all of our baking this year. I had to work and he was off, so he got the job. We have a ton of cookies left. I may have to take them to work to get rid of them.
They'll love me for that.

I did alot of baking too. I made a couple trays to give away but still have more to eat. By the way, I just ate one cookie. They all taste so good. I want more. I can't. Will Power. I froze alot of the treats for later. Diane

we did the golden eagle with walt and di in 2005. it was great!!!!

i tried to convince the ladies it was a topless island but they wernt buying it.

I just walked in the door...it's 1:30 am and there's no way I am catching up I'll do that tomorrow!


My sister and I went to supper and a movie tonight. We went to see the Benjamin Button movie. Holy crap...I'm warning you now...if you go see this...bring a whole box of kleenex!!!

It was an amazing movie but at the same time, it was the saddest movie I have ever seen!!!!!!

I'm more emotional since I had Kira but I think I was teary eyed for most of the movie and then I balled my eyes out for the last 30 mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to wake Kira up and hold her and cuddle her when I got home

Not the kind of movie I should have seen on the anniversary of my mom's death but nevertheless, it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, off to bed for me.
