cassie just called robin, so they both got on the webcam so they could talk and see each other.

they had gotten matching disney pj's for xmas. robin says to cassie"what are you wearing?" cassie says"my new pj's". robin says "me too".

i told robin, thats the same question i ask cinnamon on the webcam..
"what are you wearing?"

I am quickly drifiting off a bit. Still not fully recovered from 6 weeks of long days!

Things are settling down a lot, and now I am finding myself falling asleep quite early. Tonight, I am tired and my contacts are acting up a bit.

I'm pretty sure I will be in Quantico, VA for the Sgt. Major's Picnic in August. But I don't mind driving to DC anytime...

Hi Kathy. Potty training? What potty training? Are you kidding me. He still refuses. I have bribed my nephew with prizes if he can get him to do anything in the potty this week. He has already showed him how to aim at cheerios, go outside and I'm sure several other options by now. I hope his creativity works this week!

i think thats where nancy and cass went.

I've been there a couple of times (not for that though, just to vacation). The last time, I kept seeing people walking down the beach but not coming back (there were big rocks about 1/4 mile down from our resort - we were the last resort going south). Well, I took a walk to see where everyone was going and the sign read "Playa Nudiso" or something to that effect. Guess it is a little more that topless down there.

And no, I didn't climb the rocks to take a look.

Funny thing though, the first time we went to PdC, it was before we had DS. What was the first topless lady I saw? Yep, a 70 year old. Nasty.

The Sgt. Major's Picnic is held every year at the beginning of August in Quantico http://www.quantico.usmc.mil/sentry/StoryView.aspx?SID=2019. My Dad is a retired Master Gunnery Sergeant, so he gets invited too. This year, my Mom is going and he asked my brother and I to come down for it too. He also wants to take us to the Marine Corps Museum.

We will be there for a few days, so I would love to meet you!

Cass, Kira looked really cute in the Xmas pictures. Was she into the whole Santa thing yet? It amazed me how long until DS got into it. I think it was closer to 3 or 4. But he fell hook, line and sinker this year (he'll be 9 in Feb). This may have been the best Xmas yet with him.

Asiah was very excited about Christmas too. She was 8 in November. She talked about it all the time. She made everyone gifts and wrapped them herself. She was so cute. Diane
