Does anyone else watch Jon & Kate plus 8???

Boy, I get stressed just watching it. But...it sure makes me feel better about my simple little life :lmao: :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

I used to, but don't get the channel anymore since I had to cut back.:sad2:

The kids are soooo funny though. Leah is my favorite girl and Aiden is the favorite boy. Maddie drives me crazy, she is definately her mothers child.:rotfl2:

I tried watching it with Hazel one time, but there was just too much screaming going on for me.........

I watch it although not as much this season. I do think the kids are whiny & Maddie is a pill. Wait til she hits puberty!! I watched another show with 2 sets of twins & sextuplets & they were much better behaved.

Yuck, please stay safe and warm.

We lost power for a few hours. The worst thing is my parents don't have any. Last night they went to a motel but I think they're staying here tonight.

I had braces five years. I got them in 5th grade and got them off in 10th grade. In fact, I drove myself to my last few orthodondist appointments when I had my retainers.

I had Hazel take a couple pics of me after I arrived home from the gym this morning.

These pics make me feel soooooooooooooooo much better about myself.........:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

Speaking of Lina, I've got to drive her over to Trish's house. Trish is hosting a Christmas Party at her house for her friends tonight.........:wave2:

I'm sure I was switched at birth. The thought of turning into her when I'm older makes me believe in youthenasia(sp):lmao:

Just remember that you control which nursing home she goes to...

I Totally understand.. my mother in law ( I love her ...really) and my sister in law wanted to come on this cruise with us :scared1: .. and normally hey why not.. except their form of commnunication is yelling at each other... so I asked if all they were going to do was yell?... they decided not to come. I felt bad at first...guilt and all.. but I was sooooooo happy they would not be there to ruin my very first cruise ever!
maybe they can come on the next one and I request that someone be with me at all times so that they have a safe cruise aswell..lol :rotfl2:

Wow, good for you Bernie! It was really brave of you to speak up. And it's a good thing you did, because they would have definitely put a cramp in your cruise. When we cruise with family, the deal is everyone does their own thing. That way, if anyone gets crabby, you just walk away. :)

well i admitt it was not as brave as it sounds... lol it slipped out and was taken the wrong way.... and then boom...
but the end result was what I wanted just didn't mean to hurt people on the way..lol
I find if I talk about the cruise even now they turn and act disinterested.. so I guess after 5 months it is still a sore spot :guilty:

Personally I am SO glad that they aren't going with you. This trip is a long time coming for you and your first cruise should be wonderful!! Or shall I say Magical ;) :wizard:

heheh you have met them so you know first hand what they are like... that way everyone knows I'm telling the truth!..LOL

I wish they were "nicer" so we could enjoy more together.. but I absolutly hate going out with my mother inlaw... she is so socially unaccepting of everything.. bitter bitter woman

and her daughter is quickly following.. if Sean starts to go too far to the dark side I may have to push him over the railing ;)

Kristen and I shopped all day while kids were in school. We did birthday party shopping and Christmas. Elijah had his first violin concert. They plucked. Next time he will use the bow. They all did a good job. I never thought Elijah would play the violin. He is such a boy but he loves it. Then we went home to his house and four of his friends were there waiting to surprise him for his birthday. He was surprised. Kristen's friend set up all the goodies while we were at the concert. (chips, dips, candies) We also had pizza, hot wings for snack/dinner. Then came the ice cream and cookie cake. Wow was that good. I sure did bad on my eating tonight. Kids were having a great time when Walt and I left. Some of them were playing ping pong, others quitar hero, and one playing ps2. I tell you Elijah and Asiah have enough toys for everyone to play and have fun. They all were having a great time. (alittle loud, what do you expect 5-11 year old boys) They all jumped together on the trampoline. Asiah is staying at a friends house and I have both dogs in bed with me. I am a doggie babysitting gramma. Diane

Sounds like a great time:)

Well.............to make a long story short, we arrived home a little bit ago from getting our portrait taken. We kind of had a change in attire as we didn't use the Disney sweaters afterall. The first pic is of the three of us. :)

Here is Lina by herself. :goodvibes

As we were headed out of the mall Lina wanted to stop at The Disney Store to check to and see if she had any hours for next week. What did we see in the front window at 50% off but 48" Mickey and Minnie. Lina asked if she got her employee discount on top on the 50% and was told yes. So here is a pic that Lina had someone take of us as we were on our way out of the mall. :rotfl2:

Good morning people:goodvibes

I'm on target with my to do list:woohoo:

Made Neil his own list - he's out now doing two jobs while I dis;)

Out tonight with friends and Ellis is taking yet another karate grading on Sunday afternoon so please send him a little pixie dust to help him pass:goodvibes

Its his first kata examination - (a sequence of lots of different movements and turns etc in a certain order). He'll be an orange belt if he passes:goodvibes He's a bit nervous but I'm sure he'll do ok.

After he passes this one he has to leave his school karate class and go to a 2hour session each week on a saturday morning.

Good luck to Ellis!

It's been a rough week here.

Work has been nuts. I had a melt down Wednesday. I finally told them I can't do everything and they need to send us someone to train us on the new software. An hour lesson over the internet was not cutting it. SO they are sending help Monday.

Thursday morning I get an awful phone call from my nephew in NY. My older brother passed away. We are all in shock. I had to tell my 87 year old mother. That was the hardest. I was so worried. She did ok. We are waiting on his ex to tell us what plans she has made. She is a B**( always has been and wants no help from us. I had to call her twice to get any info. He had three boys and two step kids. So if you could please keep the kids and my mom in your prayers.

I have to get this house ready for Christmas today!! I also have the funeral for my friends baby today. It's going to be a rough day here.

Have a good one all.

Sorry about your brother Joanne:grouphug:
I hope your mom is ok.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh:furious: :furious: :furious: :furious:

The WW is at it again:mad:

Just dropped Ellis off at her house.... in her hallway, on a table where she comes in and dumps stuff... are her 2 bags of prezzies from Christmas last Sunday. I had taken all the stuff out of the big hamper and put it all into 2 gift bags for them to take home. She hasnt even bothered to unpack them.:sad2: What the hell did I bother for:mad: Took me bloody ages, cost me a fortune, wrapped and unwrapped it 3 times before I got it to look just right...wish I hadnt bothered.:furious:

Next thing...

With me I had 3 photographs I had had framed from Sunday - one of Mom and Dad, one of them with Ellis and one of just Ellis. I gave them to her ....

what does she say?... I dont like myself in photos:furious: ... ungrateful cow!:furious:

Cost me loads, had to go to order them to be printed, go back the next day to collect them, then go buy frames and thats the response I get.:furious:

How I managed to not hit her with them I dont know. She's lucky she's not wearing them around her neck right now.:furious:

How can she be so mean???

Next thing...

The final straw....

Remember her usual "I'll buy him what I want for christmas, I'm not telling you in advance what it is" etc...

Well, last Sunday I was amazed that she had done as we'd asked and bought what we wanted etc so no duplicates...

Well,......

Guess Whats sitting in her lounge all connected up ready for Ellis?....

A bloody X BOX 360:furious: :furious:

She pretends its for Dad....yeah right!... the games - Kung fu panda and Lego Indiana Jones.:furious:

I could kill her:furious:

She knew damn well I had said no to Ellis because he's already got a wii, nintendo ds, playstation 1 and 2.... so she has done it on purpose.

OK, Sorry, rant over, I just had to let off some steam.

I'm now off to make a voodoo doll with Moms face attached and stick a million pins in it:rolleyes1

 Big hugs to you Karen:hug:
