That's a bummer. If you guys lived closer I'd employ her to help me with the kids! She'd be great and AMelia and ERnie would love her!

I know it's only a part-time job, but Lina hasn't had any hours at The Disney Store for the past three weeks. She was scheduled for 4 hours tomorrow night, but got called off already. I think the store hired more seasonal help then they thought they would need. At least Lina did get to babysit a few days this week.

Tikimimi and I have both been watching. Actually, I'm watching right now. They just had their 'foodies' and now they are tearing their bed apart again.

They are keeping Ayumi, one of my favorites (she's a wild woman!). 3 pups went to their new homes last Sunday. They made a little video of them saying goodbye. Don't know when the other 2 are leaving...



That sounds sooooo good! My local pizza place makes great calzone. That sounds like a good idea for tomorrow.

A week from tomorrow, we'll all be meeting up in France!!!!

What did I miss you are going to WDW too next week? I am jealous.....have a Grand Marnier slush for me.

Pixie Dust for Ellis!!!!

Kristen and I shopped all day while kids were in school. We did birthday party shopping and Christmas. Elijah had his first violin concert. They plucked. Next time he will use the bow. They all did a good job. I never thought Elijah would play the violin. He is such a boy but he loves it. Then we went home to his house and four of his friends were there waiting to surprise him for his birthday. He was surprised. Kristen's friend set up all the goodies while we were at the concert. (chips, dips, candies) We also had pizza, hot wings for snack/dinner. Then came the ice cream and cookie cake. Wow was that good. I sure did bad on my eating tonight. Kids were having a great time when Walt and I left. Some of them were playing ping pong, others quitar hero, and one playing ps2. I tell you Elijah and Asiah have enough toys for everyone to play and have fun. They all were having a great time. (alittle loud, what do you expect 5-11 year old boys) They all jumped together on the trampoline. Asiah is staying at a friends house and I have both dogs in bed with me. I am a doggie babysitting gramma. Diane

Sounds like you were able to surprise him really nicely! I know you all had lots of fun!

Well.............to make a long story short, we arrived home a little bit ago from getting our portrait taken. We kind of had a change in attire as we didn't use the Disney sweaters afterall. The first pic is of the three of us. ​

I couldn't sleep this morning, so I got up and made toffee for a candle party tonight. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of these ladies. The lady hosting it is incredible - she is a teacher, and has three sons. Her husband has stomach cancer and they couldn't even operate when they tried because of how it had spread. She is simply amazing. Should be fun - we all bring a candle of some sort to trade and a homemade goodie to share. Our newest heating system (we have 3 in this house) is giving us fits. The gas is working, the blower comes on sometimes, and the thermostat is now brand new - we have to figure out why the blower doesn't come on all the time. This unit heats our media room and our son's bedroom upstairs. Thankfully he won't be home from skiing for a week, so we have time to fix it.

One week from today we meet in France!!! I am so excited to meet those of you who can go! Have a good day!

It's been a rough week here.

Work has been nuts. I had a melt down Wednesday. I finally told them I can't do everything and they need to send us someone to train us on the new software. An hour lesson over the internet was not cutting it. SO they are sending help Monday.

Thursday morning I get an awful phone call from my nephew in NY. My older brother passed away. We are all in shock. I had to tell my 87 year old mother. That was the hardest. I was so worried. She did ok. We are waiting on his ex to tell us what plans she has made. She is a B**( always has been and wants no help from us. I had to call her twice to get any info. He had three boys and two step kids. So if you could please keep the kids and my mom in your prayers.

I have to get this house ready for Christmas today!! I also have the funeral for my friends baby today. It's going to be a rough day here.

DS # 1 and DH will go and get a tree today. I have to grocery shop, go to a funeral, bake cookies and get the house ready.

I have bunco here friday night. Two of my friends have offer to take it, but if we are not in NY things must go on as normal. So I have a lot of cleaning and baking to do today. Ds # 2 comes home from college tomorrow. He leaves again on the 26th for a trip to Key West with the girlfriends family. So I only have two weeks to spoil him.

I bailed from H & R block, couldn't give them all the time the wanted in the next two weeks.

I will try to post some pictures tonight of our trip last week.

Hello everyone. It was an incredibly busy week for me! In addition to my regular Christmas work, the Extreme Makeover Home Edition stuff was thrown in, so it was crazy but fun.

I met a few of the designers and got my pictures with them at the wrap party Thursday night at Foxwoods. Elaine was in a few camera shots at the reveal on Thursday so she will quite likely be on tv when the show airs. She met Ty and all of the designers. Paige and Ty were not at the after party. I was looking for Paige, but had to settle for getting my picture with Miss Connecticut.

I have to run out and put my bell ringers out, but will be back on a little later. I will post pics as well.

Lina is good with the little ones, she really enjoys watching Ty and Tori, and they just love her too!!!

She should think about going back to school and majoring in early childhood education. She could work or depending on what degree she got she could even run a preschool. Or she could run her own daycare center. We have a lady here in the neighborhood that runs her own daycare and pull in over 100 grand a year.
