Baked potatoes. We also call them jacket potatoes ver here because you bake them in their "jackets".

I just ate mine with stilton crumbled on the top - heavenly

I figured out what the jacket is but I've never heard of stilton - & I have English blood in my veins!

Next time we will have to move together. I have had a black cloud hanging over my head this week and it is only Tuesday. Everything is falling apart at the same time. I was told very nicely that my suggestions for the wedding are not welcome and I will be on a need to know basis. You were right that boys turn on you and have no backbone when girls are involved. I had co signed a car loan for my neice a couple of years ago and found out that she is dumping it on me to get rid of which means I am going to have to pay the payments until I sell it. Tommy of course did his I told you so dance. I was happy to be at work today so that no one can bother me. I would love to run away from home but I am to tired and stressed to plan an escape.

Sometimes being the mother of the groom leaves something to be desired. With the first one I was pretty much out of the loop because she had a mother & many sisters. But as I remember our $$$$ was OK! With the 2nd one I was very included because the other mom was in Texas. Who knows if son #3 will ever get married!

Yes, I did enjoy them. My grandfather was a florist a long time ago so I can appreciate the art.

Oh Karen! I'm so sorry! If it helps, we were talking about our British friends last night, saying that you all would be posting on the new thread. I went to bed, not knowing that they were going to keep blabbing until they finished #14. In fact, they had to drag AFEG off of kicking & screaming!

I agree with you Jeff Rob works from home and often goes back to work for a couple of hours after Kira goes to bed because he has stuff to do and well, it's right there in the basement

I don't even get to wait until DS goes to bed. I"m up on the system by 8:00. Last night, however, it was down so I couldn't log in. Went to bed early last night.

I'm usually up and on it by 6:00 in the morning then too for another hour.

It beats the old way of working here and then driving 35-45 minutes home very late at night.

Hope everyone is OK with all the forest fires in CA at the moment.

Becky or Steve will have to confirm, but I believe they are down in the northern LA area, so they shouldn't be affected by them.

However, there is a lot of damage from them.
