:thumbsup2 Jeff's my travel guide/tour operator:hug: . I just go where he tells me at whatever time he tells me:rotfl2:

He was even willing to sit in our nut free zone so we werent "Billy no mates" at dinner. (Do you have that term over there or should I explain?:confused3 )

I can honestly say his lovely family and the KK'ers made our holiday last year. Being a new cruiser we would have missed out on so much if it hadnt been for the KK'ers knowledge.:thumbsup2

Glad to help Karen.

As for the "whatever time" comment, makes me sound like I had you running like the people in the NCL commercial that were always checking their watches. Sorry.

I will, however, help you get yet another excellent cruise. With our sons being the same age and because they get along so well, we can plan a lot of similar things. Having similar tastes worked out well too.

Your family is like the British version of ours. We're all the same age and have the same family make-up. Worked out well.

Hey everyone. I am checking in while I wait for chinese take out. Oh, I am baking some brownies to eat while I work into the night as well...

I am not sure yet on the Palo Brunch. Our family is thinking of doing brunch. This will be my parents and sisters 3rd DCL cruise and they haven't been to Palo yet. We are thinking Brunch is a nice way to try it out, and my dad doesn't want to miss a night in the restaurants.

The key here is that you can't make them at the same time. We were linked to other people on our last cruise and I had no problem at all making spa reservations & shore tours. However, when linked people were trying to book Palo 90 days out at midnight, they did have problems. So the trick is to not get on at the same time or, as you said, have one person make the 'difficult' reservations.

Exactly. Becky and I were IMing each other and would take turns going in. She got in to one hard one and booked it for both of us. I think I did one too in Acapulco (which we eventually cancelled).

With Karen and I linked, we'll do Palo dinner together and with the boys being the same age, probably the same excursions. Works out well. And since I can book for them, I just click all the boxes.

Brunch is actually very good. Suz would pick it over dinner if she could only have one.

As for missing a dinner, I always plan Palo for the night of the Master Chef menu. Don't like that one. :crazy2:

Looks like I'm all caught up.

I'll check back tonight with everyone.

Morning Mark,

Good luck on the dreadmill. I am just getting the last on out the dooor for school also. Althought waking up to a chilly 50ish is nothing like your 19. Luckly we will be warming up to low to mid 80's.

Scott

Hi Scott and Carrie!

And your right, it's a great way to experience Palo without missing a dinner rotation.

Ok, let me clear up a few things for you guys since not everyone knows the whole story except me I guess. I'm sorry...I should have said something earlier.

A whole lot of us sailed together last October. Our group was nicknamed Konked Kruisers. Now when a very large percentage of that same group decided to sail again together next October, we started a new thread (there was no other thread for our sail date at the time) and talk of nicknames and logos began right away of course.

Since we knew we would be sailing with other people, we didn't want to just have it named Konked Kruisers 2 so talk began about a new name. Since a LOT of people are celebrating different occasions on this cruise, the name Bash on the Boat was suggested.

Someone else suggested that we could shorten it up to B.O.B. and then I think someone else suggested the "I'm with" part.

So it was a collaborative effort and everyone loved the end result.

Cheryl N WI's daughter Rachel made a sign with the Magic in a Bottle and Heather made a Pirate Logo, both with Bash on the Boat and I'm with BOB on it.

That's when I decided that I would make a website for us and started working on a logo for t-shirts. We all loved the Pirate and the Disney Magic so I decided a Mickey Pirate would work well to meld those two great ideas together.

When I was making the logo, I added the "Are you?" at the last minute and when I posted it, everyone seemed to like it.

Ok, fast-forward to a couple of months ago, I received a PM from tikimimi asking me if I could make a new variation of the logo for her because her ex is named BOB and she really did not want to use that name. I told her I would be willing to make a logo just for her, no problem.

Then a few weeks later there were posts made on the thread by various new BOBers (that had sailed on the DVC Member cruise together) concerning the logo. Someone had mentioned that they didn't want the Konked Kruisers 2 logo since they didn't sail with the KKers. Totally understandable

So here was my dilemma..

How to keep everyone happy?
How not to offend the old BOBers?
How to make the new BOBers feel more comfortable and included?
How to keep us somewhat together as a group since no matter what, we're all BOBers.

So I decided to make different variations of the logo. Some have "Bash" on them, some have the original "BOB", some have KK2, some have just Disney Magic on them.

Here's my thinking...

They all have bright orange and the Pirate Mickey on them...two things you will be able to spot very easily in the Terminal or on the ship, no matter what else is on them.

You can decide which version is better suited for you so EVERYONE is comfortable.

You can customize your own logo and add whatever you like to it.

It seems like lately that we have been torn into groups on this thread. Please remember that we are ALL BOBers and we are all cruising TOGETHER! Everything on the BOB website has been created for EVERYONE on this sailing. It is not final, and it will NOT be final until just before we leave so if you have any suggestions for meets or door signs or anything else, please bring them up on the thread and I will add them to the site.

Also please do your best to make EVERYONE feel part of the GROUP! It is understandable that certain people will get along better/more easily with others and some will clash with others. If you don't have anything nice to say about someone then please DON'T POST.

Also please keep in mind that ALL of the meets listed on the BOB Meets Page are open to EVERYONE!! If you want to add a meet that will welcome EVERYONE then please let me know about it and I will add it to the Meets Page so that everyone knows about it too!

If you prefer to have a mini-meet with only certain people, I think it's best to arrange these meets via PM so that no one is hurt or offended.

And most importantly...let's all have some FUN people!!! We will be on the greatest cruise ship ever (at least top 2 ;) ) and the whole point is to have fun!!!! :woohoo:

Next time we will have to move together. I have had a black cloud hanging over my head this week and it is only Tuesday. Everything is falling apart at the same time. I was told very nicely that my suggestions for the wedding are not welcome and I will be on a need to know basis. You were right that boys turn on you and have no backbone when girls are involved. I had co signed a car loan for my neice a couple of years ago and found out that she is dumping it on me to get rid of which means I am going to have to pay the payments until I sell it. Tommy of course did his I told you so dance.:dance3: I was happy to be at work today so that no one can bother me.:scared: I would love to run away from home but I am to tired and stressed to plan an escape.:rotfl2:

 Hugs for you.

Hi Scott. Good to see you here. How are the kids. Busy with school? Would love to see a recent pic.

Hi back. Kids doing good. Mackenzie is loving first grade. Her teacher is fantastic. Kyle is doing allright with 7th, it was a big leap for him from 6th to 7th. He now has 1-2 hours of homework instead of 10-20 minutes. Kelsey is doing good with 8th, but I think she is looking beyond 8th to 9th.

We just got family pics back. Since I am not computer smart, Carrie will get them scanned in later. She is fighting a sinus infection, so it will be a little bit.

How is your troop doing? How is other Scott #2?

Gosh, you turn the other way for less than a day and there's a new thread and nearly twenty pages already! :scared1: I've given up keeping up. It'll be hit and miss from here on in. :sad2:

Matthew,

Please don't let the speed of the thread keep you away. Just jump in when you have time. Anything important will be linked to in post #1 or on Cass' website. :thumbsup2

So sorry to hear this Leisha. Thankfully, I was included in my son's wedding plans last April but not as much as my daughter's. It was much easier being the MOTG though. Not as much drama. :goodvibes

Maybe only 39. Nancy G said something about not liking that there 'fancy food'!

I didn't like the fancy schmancy food but I am certainly willing to give it another try. Besides, have you seen a picture of my hot date for the morning? Hubba hubba!!! :thumbsup2

Who would like to see some photos from the weekend?

I do, I do. Heather, those are beautiful!! I so wish you would've lived around here somewhere. We wouldn't have had to search for a florist at all. :flower3:

Oh Karen! I'm so sorry! If it helps, we were talking about our British friends last night, saying that you all would be posting on the new thread. I went to bed, not knowing that they were going to keep blabbing until they finished #14. In fact, they had to drag AFEG off of kicking & screaming! :lmao:

I promise, next time I will be your moving buddy!

Nice, and you drop me like a hot potato???  Was it something I said Kathy. Wahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!:goodvibes

We use to have many different names for the cruise. I can't remember them all, but every few days on the first thread, before we were limited to 250 pages, I use to change the name to something new - always funny.

Maybe some of the people who remember them can post what they were.

I just remember one of them Jeff. It was T.W.I.T! I think it had something to do with me though. It was funny until I found out. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
