Tony and I had a great time at the Packer game last night. Jesse couldn't make it though. Too bad the Packers couldn't pull out a win though. Rodgers looked good at least.

As usual, there are always the little incidents MG gets herself into, like the woman in front of me that I had to "shush" because she decided to talk through the National Anthem and the woman next to me who insisted on sitting on the seat that my bum already occupied. Other than that, we had a good time and I loved my mother/son day. We giggled like little school girls all day long. LOVED it!!!

We got home late and rode in on fumes. According to the gauge in Tony's jeep, we had 2 gallons of gas left in our driveway! I hope he stopped for gas on his way home.

Well, the wicked witch of the West (my mother) is up to her usual stunts again.

She's bought him 2 nintendo ds games for his birthday without bothering to ask me and yes... one I've already bought him and the other is a rating age 12
She then makes it look like I'm the one in the wrong
She's now in a major sulk now cuz I told her to take them back.

Every year we have exactly the same problem every birthday and every christmas - she refuses to check with me what I (or anybody else ) has already bought for Ellis and just buys whatever she feels like, then moans when she's wasted her money. I tell her all the time to check with me first but she never does.

Geez! - she infuriates me beyond belief.
Shell be sulking til christmas now and then we'll go thorugh it all again

She even thrust my birthday cards at me as we were leaving today saying "here you are - take them now - it will save me a stamp".

I've told Neil that if I ever turn out like her then he can shoot me!

Sorry - rant over!.... I'm now doing deep breathing and looking on ebay for a voodoo doll that resembles my mother

Oh Karen I feel for you, sounds alot like my step-father, who passed away a couple of years ago. Sad to say, but a lot more peace in the family now...

I feel for you, I have in laws like that....take a deep breath & be thankful you don't see them often.

Thats just the trouble - she expects me to drive my son over every day while he's on holiday - she doesnt drive so its down to me to take him, drive back home, then go back and fetch him and drive back home. Its not far, just a real inconvenience - she forgets that I might like to spend time with my own son once in a while. Her reply to that would be "but you see him every day"

Oh Karen I feel for you, sounds alot like my step-father, who passed away a couple of years ago. Sad to say, but a lot more peace in the family now...

Actually, I liked your pics. I never really thought about the theming extending to the bathrooms that much. You just might have enough material for a Disney Bathrooms "Bathroom" book.

I sometimes take pictures of things at Disney that people wonder about. Architectural features, signs, even roadways. But, I don't think I'd have the nerve to take pics in the bathroom! :: I'd be the guy being escorted backstage by the Disney Cops! : It was apparent that you went to great lengths to avoid people.

I took a look at your hidden mickey pics too. And here I thought I was obsessed with HMs!! I haven't seen half of them... mostly the truly hidden mickeys. On a previous site (many years ago) they kept a list of hidden mickeys...the truly hidden ones! Some really are just part of the decor. Others were snuck in there by the imagineers and designers! EPCOT was NOT supposed to have Mickey theming... they just hid them there!

WoW! Your videos are great! :I haven't yet ventured into mixing stills and video yet. What software did you use? :

I have a bunch of video from the Med too, but I haven't gotten into editing it yet. Everything takes time.

Beth and I haven't met any of the veteran BOBers. But watching the video, I was able to identify the different people from various pictures. :

I remember spotting Mike & Robin, Walt & Di, Paige, Karen, and of course Cass & Rob.

I use Pinnacle Studio to make all my videos. Last trip I made 2 videos and a slideshow and this time I didn't want to make videos AND a slideshow so I decided to put them all together. I had never done that before. I'm not all that pleased about how it came out but I've lost my studio file when our server crashed and so I can't re-edit it.


And yes, we met some FABULOUS Disers And bumped into some good old friends too

Karen, I'm not sure if I understand but there is a balcony right outside the terminal facing the ship. That's where we took all our pictures from. It's the same balcony that the CM's stand on to wave good-bye to us. Is this what you mean?

A balcony! - how do you get out to it? - I only saw the Mickey ears doorway

I didnt see any balcony - geez! - I was too busy hyperventilating with excitement to notice a balcony

Directly to the right of the Mickey ears are two glass doors that lead outside to that balcony.
