I saw the cast members waving to us as we left - I didnt know I could get out there from the terminal though!

I blame Jeff for getting me that spare early boarding card number - if he hadnt whisked me onboard so early I'd have seen it.

If you have any pictures of the mickey ears, you can probably see those doors. There are huge glass windows right there too and the doors are within those windows.

Has anyone heard off Rose lately? I havent seen her post for ages

I've just looked in my album - I see the doors!

I dont think I even ventured past the model ship until it was time to go through the ears - I need to calm down and look around more next time

We took some really great pictures out there too. The first year we went it was right after the Magic was in dry-dock. They were still pulling some garbage off the ship and we were watching. From where we stood we could see a beautiful Disney print in a frame in a dumpster. We were all watching when one of the CM's down on the dock noticed it and dragged it out of the dumpster. We all cheered!!! I hope he got to keep it. It was gorgeous!

I dont really have one yet - a lot of people advertise their villas on the Dibb, but they want $1200 plus for a week - then you have to add on another $280 for pool and jacuzzi heat

Just seems an awful lot of $$ when I can get an I Drive hotel MUCH cheaper

Does anyone else click on the email links and get straight to the cruise part?

Do the rest of you all venture onto the big wide world of the Dis and if so what am I missing! - I dont think I'd have enough hours in the day to keep up with anything more than the cruise forum and even then I usually bypass the main bit and just find our thread.

Well, I guess you have to decide on whether you NEED a villa. If you don't then I would just go for a hotel but if you think you will use your own pool, and wahser/dryer and kitchen etc then I would go for a villa


The company that I found for my brother is Loyalty USA. I stayed with them one year and it was great. They've used them 3 times and thought they were awesome.

You can choose your own home (with some companies, you only get to choose your bedrooms and they choose the home for you) most of which are in Formosa gardens I think, which is a great location if you are going to spend most of your time is Disney

Karen--to the left of Tanya and I (pic below) there is a door that leads out to the balcony area where pics can be taken. Is this what you were referring too Karen?

My mom took this pic of the three of us out on that balcony in August 2003.
