Bendy...gonna go back to Victoria and Albert's next year but can you recommend anywhere different that is as nice?

Hi Jess! :goodvibes

Well, there's honestly nothing else on property that compares with Vickie & Al's ... it's in a class all by itself.

BUT ... if you like French food the restaurant in Epcot called Bistro Paris is quite good and they do offer a degustation selection as part of their dinner menu. The service can be a bit spotty there but we really enjoyed the food.

Among the other signature restaurants on Disney property that we've tried (so far) California Grill at the Contemporary Resort, Flying Fish at the Boardwalk, and Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge are the best and the ones that we would go back to again.

We've got a new line-up of restaurants for this fall that will include some new signature restaurants so keep your eyes peeled after October! :thumbsup2

If you happen to leave Disney property and head over to Universal, Emeril has two really good restaurants over there ... Emeril's at CityWalk and Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific Resort. We've eaten at both and they're fabulous!

I'm NOT talking to you anymore FORMER Friend..........:snooty: :snooty: :snooty:
Andy, Just caught some info on The Weather Channel. It looks like you will be safe to get on the Magic. After that its anyone's guess what will happen. Perhaps you will get a longer cruise as it looks like Eastern Florida could be in the crosshairs.

10 yard penalty for using a word that I need to look up in the dictionary. Sorry, we're watching college football.

Hi Chris, I've had TWC on for the past hour or so........;) ;) ;)

de·gust [di-guhst]
–verb (used with object) to taste or savor carefully or appreciatively.

Now that I know what it means, have you tried this? If so, what sort of foods did you guys taste? I don't remember you talking about this restaurant before. I may have to go back to your review.

That's what they like to call their tasting menus at some of those fancy-schmancy places Jay and I eat at. :rotfl2:

I had to look it up after we ate at Emeril's the first time back in 2005. :lmao:

Now I just use it to make myself look smrt.

Uh, I mean smart. ;)

which restaurant, sistah?

Now I remember. It's the "Benda" review.:lmao: It was just as good the second time around!:thumbsup2

Paige, if you go to my blog there's a review from Vegas that was posted in July for L'Atelier at the MGM Grand ... that's another tasting menu experience that we had. Best one ever ... seriously incredible! :thumbsup2

Calling it a night folks, see ya in the morning.......:wave2:

Rachel wore a school uniform when she went to Catholic grade school from kindergarten-4th grade. The public schools in our area don't wear uniforms, but I have heard of some in other areas that do. The thing that was nice when she wore a uniform was she knew what she needed to wear, now there are days when she puts on multiple different things before finally deciding what to wear.

I'm dealing with the multiple outfits with DD, too. I might uniforms with DS--he wants to pick his own clothes this year but he has trouble distinguishing between play/practice clothes and school clothes. He is making improvements except with his favorites.
