Looks like we have almost 27,000 "views" on this thread. That seems to be much higher than we have had on previous threads. 21,000-23,000 comes to mind.

Must be getting popular.

Update on WDW this fall:

Suz is initially saying "no" because she still has it in her head we're going down at Xmas.

I did find airfare for only $170 RT.

I may call Disney tonight to find out the true cost of this package and how much over the AAA rate it is. If it seems to be a steal, I may jump on it.
Thats a great deal on airfare in these times! Direct flight???

How about a picture of DS with Ducky Williams?

We actually had a few chances to talk to him around the ship and on CC.

The day you REPO cruisers went through the canal was an especially busy day. That day alone might account for the increase.

Unfortunately no. That would be about $240+ (I think). It would be connecting on NWA through Memphis (which is better than Detroit or Minneapolis).

But "views" are when people come to our thread to look, not post. I can't see that many people coming one day to follow our thread while we went through the canal.

However, we have more DISers on here now, so maybe that is accounting for it. Or, because of all the posting, people are coming on to see what we're talking about.

I have been checking on airfares for this years dates for next years cruise. Does that even make sense?!?! Any way, I am preparing myself for $300 RT airfare from the New England airports. It used to be you could get a direct flight to MCO for less than $200. Those days are long gone I think.

How about a couple pics from before we went into the Canal. The countryside is just beautiful down in Panama.

Yeah, I'm thinking $300 from the midwest won't be out of the question either.

We use to always get under $200. I think our norm now, when on sale, is $210-$240.

So, who else has ever taken a picture of the TV when the route of the cruise was on the screen?

Here is DS just floating around in a tube on CC. Wish I had the one of his face and the aftermath of AFEG dumping him in the water on CC. Boy was DS scared and upset. Mean old AFEG. :rotfl2:

Here is another pic of Channel 12 showing the total miles we went on this cruise. Remember, a nautical mile is 1.15 land miles, so we went a total of 5,768 land miles on the Repo.

Yeah come spring of next year I will be checking the airline websites daily. I did that for our 2006 cruise and was able to get a very good fare on Southwest.

Is there still no one out there to talk to?

Chris, where did you go?

Ah, FO denied...

Well Jeff, I have to run and do some youth programs. I will be back in a few hours.

We could book at 330 days out, but the only airline that books that early from MKE and flies non-stop is Midwest. I would NOT bank on them being around at that time. They maybe, but I won't take the gamble.

I will wait for Air Tran to release their fares.

Northwest I think flies non-stop now, but they are over priced.

To top it off, the prices will be high because it is Teachers' Convention weekend at the end of the cruise and everyone will be flying down to FL that weekend. The return flights will be bad.
