What is the name of the hotel/waterpark you are visiting. I want to look it up on the computer. Walt is playing golf today. He has had a busy weekend. He took a concealed weapon class all day yesterday. I spent the day with daughter and grandkids. It was their homecoming football game. We had fun. Grandson's team finally won their second game. He did a few good blocks, tackles, and even recovered a fumble. Grandaughter cheered her heart out. I made the mums for them. I made them with Erika, my youngest daughter, 10 years ago and now this is my third year I have made them for my grandkids. They say I make them the best. I told them I have more experience than the other kids moms. (ha ha) I will have Walt help me post pictures tonight. Today I am going to a Ladies of Harley lunch. It is at a teahouse in Gruene, Texas. After we eat we will do alittle holiday shopping. It should be fun. I am looking forward to hearing from Mike and Robin about their cruise and visit at Walt Disney World. I know they had fun without me. Talk to you all later. Di

Since it is so close to my eyes and nose, I am hesitant to put any lotions and stuff near the rashes.

I actually have some on my one eyelid. Eyes aren't closed, but there is itiching.

Oh Heavens, I'd be hesitant to put anything there too.

More England questions....

Does anyone there have front yards/gardens? If so, what are they called?

What do you call a plot with tomatoes, corn, squash, or what have you?

What do you call a large area with ponds and plants or sculpted hedges and flowers or simply large areas of different types of roses?

We are having grand discussions on this end about the differences in language and how much English has changed. I can still spout of the first 13 lines of the Canterbury Tales in Middle English, so we do make comparisons. Also, are there colloquialisms there? Would there be folks who would call your garden a yard or something else in a different part of England?

Morning all. Just checking in from the Chula Vista. Having a great time.

Jen/Pete, Cheryl/Al/Rachel/an their niece, Nancy/Chuck, and my family are up here. Janice's family is coming up later this morning.

The waterpark is great. Chuck and I go on the "toddler" climber (well, it's for bigger kids and teens too) and spray everyone with the hoses. We just get soaked up there.

We have pictures. Not sure when I"ll get them up here.

Here are Homecoming pictures from this weekend.....Emily was part of the sword detail during the halftime show on Friday night, then they had a dinner and dance on Saturday night. She had a good time, even though her allergies were in high gear, poor thing.
