Di - I really enjoyed your pictures! I love the fact that you and Walt do so much traveling. EB and I dream of doing that once our kids are grown and out the door. :lovestruc

Morning All - off to work.

Dan and Nancy - the pork is in the crock pot with the beer and sauce. Mack will turn it on later. I am looking forward to trying it!

Don't know what we will be doing in 2010 and beyond - I know we want to do a lengthy trip to WDW again, and I want to do something special in 2012 - Hawaii maybe - to celebrate our anniversary. Who knows?

Have a great day everyone!

Thats sounds good Mimi 2012 we will celebrating 45 years together. I think we will be doing something. Maybe Joanne can talk us into some other adventure maybe Hawaii.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Say hi to Mack and hope you enjoy your Pulled Pork.

Mimi,

What number anniversary are you celebrating in 2012?

I'm looking for a longer WDW vacation sometime soon too. We did a week the first time we took DS in 2003, but since then it has just been long weekends or a couple days before a cruise. Would like to just go and "take it all in" again.

Good Morning everyone...

The back is feeling much better this morning. It's not completely there, but I am much more comfortable than I was 12 hours ago.

All of the pics look like a lot of fun. I am thinking of maybe doing a banana boat ride at CC, but Elaine remembers the scene in Jaws 3 or was it the dreadful 4, where Jaws takes out the Banana boat. It deflates and leaves those who were on it in the water for the shark to have a buffet. Ever since she saw that as a kid, she has never been on a banana boat!

Lucky! Saw the price for that one and almost fell out of my chair. It was 2000 cheaper than the EBPC. There should be a lot less issues with kids on that one.

Yes, that's what we thought. We also got 10% off for moving our 'dummy' booking. :woohoo:

Good Morning BOBers! :sunny:

Glad to hear you're feeling better, Chris.

I'm pretty sure I stopped after Jaws 2, so I had no idea about the banana boat thing. That is too funny! :lmao: We did the banana boat at CC a few years ago and I guess we were lucky because no one fell off of our boat. But I think once was enough. I know a couple of people that did the CC waverunner tour and they said it was excellent, so maybe I'll try that next.

Anyone else book for 2010 today?

Can you believe that 2010 is cheaper than 2009? I was shocked at that, but very happy.

You joining us on the WB trans then?

We are going from a YRE to a Modified Traditional. Unfortunately the sports around here won out and our time off are around the major holidays. I'm sure if I wanted to fight it I could, since it states no where in my contract that I have to take vacation while students are out. I hear that the school board may revisit the calendar again and make it a more modified calendar like the other districts around here. Which would mean at least a week or two off in October.

Good luck if you decide to go for it.

Here is one of my favorite pictures from our cruise:

I agree Tracy - lovely picture.

Yeah mine was given to me by teachers so no money attached to it. It is a pretty tree. I just repotted it to a bigger pot and now it's time to repot it again. On another note my lemon tree is growing lemons, so I guess I will be able to make lemonade now!:lmao:

Perhaps it needs to be 'pot bound'. Some plants only flower if there roots are compacted.

I am *hoping* we can do a week at WDW in 2010. I need to do my research, but it looks like late August is a value season at WDW (correct me if I'm wrong) and they sometimes have free dining. I'm sure it's hot in FL at that time, but we wouldn't have to take DS out of school then.

Once we do that, I may have gotten enough Disney in for a while and we can do other vacations....

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Wow Mike... You just live in your own little dream world, don't you? I haven't even begun packing yet. :)

Oh my goodness, :lmao: what are we letting ourselves in for when we dine together on Oct 09?:lmao: Looks like we won't be able to stop laughing.:rotfl:

I am pretty sure the value season starts around August 15th give or take a day or two.

I have gone around that time for the same reasons you mentioned. It's cheaper and the kids are still out of school in our area of the country.

Good morning/afternoon all! How is everyone?

I'm doing pretty well....lots going on at work but otherwise things are pretty quiet here.

I'm starting to try and get organized for Christmas and our AZ/DL trip....I've just figured out I have a lot to do between now and then.

For Christmas presents for my in-laws (Pete's mom and dad and sister and BIL) I am making a "DCL care package". I am making them each a "BOB" t-shirt, custom luggage tags, and a couple of door signs for their cabins. Does that sound odd? I think they'll enjoy them, and I know it's something they wouldn't do on their own. Hopefully they'll like them. But that means I have to get all that stuff made up!
