You joining us on the WB trans then?

No, DS would be in school. Can't pull him for 2 weeks plus whatever travel time we need before hand.

That cruise would be cheap (and you get some good Caribbean Islands at the end, unlike the last time), but the airfare would kill us (even from Chicago).

Hawaii sounds good to me. If we all save our points it will only cost air fare.We can do our own adventures by disney.

Shall we call it coersion to Hawaii.
You know thats not a bad idea. I wanted to take Nancy there 42 years ago on our honeymoon.
It would be fun if all of us saved our points and went together.

Was it really warm at that time of year?

We don't start school here until after labor day, so it would be a good time to go if I can find the right deal.

I may have to check out the WDW planning boards eventually, but you guys are just way more fun!

We went over Labor Day weekend in 2007 and it was quiet in the parks. We did get free dining. It was hot, but if you come back to the pool for a couple hours mid-afternoon, you'll be fine. Just don't go non-stop.

We are thinking of going next Labor Day if we can't sneak a trip in over the winter.

I like going to Disney World for 7 days. It is plenty of time to do everything. My grandkids and I went last June and the only thing we didn't do was Fantasmic. We were too tired. They wanted to go swimming in the pool instead. We did not rush at all and we did every ride at least once some we did many times especially the rides the kids really loved. Di

Besides the ending shows in the parks, there are the afternoon parades. I think the last time we really watched one was on our Oct '03 trip (when we went for a week).

I really would like to get back there and just take our time going through the parks and making it a point to see all the parades and show.

I don't think we need a full week, but more than the 2-3 nights we spend there. I think, with the right flight times, we could do it in 5 nights, but I'll take 7.

not yet.:scared1:

i'll have to check the bob site. i know they have zipline somewhere for the bob cruise. cass and rob wanted to do it too.

I would love to do this too! DH will as long as the life insurance is paid up.:rotfl2:

Oh My, the funniest thing just happened to me. I was in a warehouse attempting to read the water meter. The meter is on the top of two 6" pipes about 6' above the floor. The only way to get to the meter is to stand on the bottom pipe, which I have done hundreds of times. Well, this morning I lost my footing and started slipping off the lower pipe, as I was slipping off, my foot kicked the emergency valve and water went spraying everywhere. By the time I was able to get to the valve and shut the water off, I looked like a drowned rat. Luckily, no one saw what had happened. I quickly climbed back on the pipe, being extra careful since it was now wet, read the meter, and ran out of the buliding. I had one more building to go to after this happened and you should have seen the looks I got going in there as I was still dripping wet.........:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I got home for lunch a few minutes ago and put a dry set of work clothes on for this afternoon...........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The last I heard the BBR at CC was no longer operating due to vendor problems. Maybe Mike and Robin can find out next week if it has resumed.

BTW, Mike and Robin, here's wishing you both a WONDERful cruise!!!!!

I can visualize this scene in my head - it's like something on TV!

Hope the rest of your day goes a little more smoothly!

If BBR means banana boat, I can say that they were NOT running when we were there at the end of September. We were kind of wondering what was going on.
