Well, not really sure where the weekend has disappeared to

Havent been in the house for more than 10 minutes at a time before shooting out to yet another event for Ellis

And how the heck did I manage to volunteer to help out at the three and half hour craft event at Beavers yesterday???? - the words just shot out of my mouth before I could stop them All the other parents just threw their kids through the door and ran ... I could see they were short staffed so I volunteered ,....why cant I be more like the "throw them in and run" parents

I ended up covered in plaster dust and my manicure is now hideous

He's had a great weekend including a bowling party he went to this morning... although I need to start charging him taxi (no wait a minute ... chauffeur) rates

We had 6 minutes to make a sandwich, get him out of his party clothes and into his karate whites and back into the car for karate at lunchtime. Lunch was a quick sandwich in the car enroute I actually had time for a cup of tea from a vending machine while I waited for him to do his grading. I think that was my first hot drink all weekend

I wouldnt mind but tomorrow I'm in school all day for the PTA, then Tuesday I'm involved in the Infant school Entertainer

At some point I've promised myself that I'll do some housework

Well, I'm off to cook dinner.... later peeps

Karen, reading what you do makes me tired. I know I was the same way when my kids were younger. My only regret - I didn't slow down and just enjoy being home with them more. They grow up far too quickly!

Just got through putting a Pork Butt in Crock pot to cook for the day and maybe later on we will have some pulled pork.
It has been a busy weekend so far. Went to our oldest grandsons football game yesterday. Today we head to hockey for the other grandson.
It looks like we will have a great group for the cruise.

Good morning everyone!

We went to the Poconos yesterday, walked around EB's old neighboorhood by the Lake and let the kids play at the park. It was so much fun and was gorgeous out.

Today we might be going to a pumpkin patch and hay ride.

I'll have to post pics.

It's been such beautiful weather all weekend, it's hard to resist.

We've had lovely weather today. At about 12noon our back garden temperature hit 80F. Unheard of!

Just arrived back home from picking Lina up. Today was only filling out more paperwork, Lina has training on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Here is a pic of her in her CM shirt, standing in front of Uncle Walt!!!

Just arrived back home from picking Lina up. Today was only filling out more paperwork, Lina has training on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Here is a pic of her in her CM shirt, standing in front of Uncle Walt!!!

I've read the posts about Docking vs. Tendering in St. Thomas.

We have done both. In Jan '05 we tendered and in Jan '06 we docked.

Now docking won't be the best thing if you are in the new, or far, port. It is way away from the city center. I remember seeing a pic on the old thread (KK thread) of someones pics from the top of the tram (I think it may have been Mike/Robin's), that shows where the Magic was that day (they got diverted to St. Thomas - was suppose to be a Western). Anyhow, it was way across the bay.

It will depend on the number of other ships that in the port that day. Hopefully, the other lines will have ships still out of the Caribbean in October next year, so less chance of congestion.

Just got home from a fairly long morning/early afternoon. I'll be hanging out on the DIS for a bit, then we are having a bonfire with our neighbors this evening. It should be a good time.
