Hi, Everyone. Just dropping in real quick. I am in South Dakota right now. I am here with my DH. We are out in the Midwest attending his brother's funeral. This will be the third state that I have stayed in in the past 4 days, Minnesota, North Dakota and now South Dakota. We will be back in Minnesota tomorrow and then we fly home Friday.

I'd gladly trade some heat for a little more cool - this has been a difficult summer. Hope the winter brings us some of your snow...we will glady take it.

WOW!!! Am glad to hear your Mother has made a full recovery - glad to hear that DCL acted well to assist in that.

We've went on DCL in 2005 with my In-Laws. DMiL required a scooter and WDW/DCL was fantastic with her...and those traveling with her. I have to offer them KUDO's for the very special extra touches for those that have 'health and ability challenges'. Wishing that health continues positively allowing her to enjoy this vacation.

Trust me, I'd love to send you some snow. We are due for flurries this week. It can start snowing anytime now and goes to sometimes as late as the end of April.
Cleveland is the main city to us. If they get 4-6 inches, we'll get 8-12 inches.
We had a lousy summer, not very warm and a lot of rain.

Hello to everyone! My name is Debbie and I have a daughter her name is Chelsea who will be 13 next year - this will be our 5th Disney cruise! We just went on our last one a month ago today and it already seems soooo long ago!! My husband has went with us on 2 of the cruises but he has opted out now - he does not like to do the same thing twice - rubbish - you can always have new experiences on DCL!!!! My sister Tamara and her son Andy will be traveling with us!! I can not wait! I thought getting in on this forum might make up a little for being soooo homesick for the Magic! We participated for the first time this year in the FE exchange and would love to do it again - I think it was in the top 3 things my daughter listed as her favorites!!! Like another poster said - it does not have to be expensive to be fun!! Well I had better get back to work! Thanks for fueling my obsession!!!

You remembered right, she is a little girl. We get to meet her in 9 more weeks! So much to do still! We are ALMOST set up in the nursery, I will have to post some pics soon. DH and my Dad did a mural of the 100 Aker Woods from the Classic Pooh book. It came out beautifully! I'm glad they are both talented artists, I don't have an articstic bone in my body. Crafty, sometimes. But artistic? No.

Welcome Debbie! It will be my 5th as well, and my husband's 6th. Why did he get an extra one? Because we have a dear friend getting married on the Wonder in about 2 weeks, and they won't let 7.5 month pregnant ladies on the boat. DANGIT! lol

I made him promise to bring me back a Mickey rice crispie treat, and of course all of the shampoos.

DH and my Dad did a mural of the 100 Aker Woods from the Classic Pooh book. It came out beautifully!

Ohhhhh...please post your photos. Our baby's room...for the three DD's also was 'Classic Pooh'. We had such a hard time finding 'stuff' in the style created by Milne/Shepard - sixteen years ago. wow...sixteen years ago (give me a minute).

Don't laugh at me...I even took a color illustration/lithograph into Home Depot...so they could match paint for us...we called it...'classic pooh brown'. We used that color below the chair rail. This brings back great memories.

Hey everyone, I did a little research on some hotels in the area. I know we're planning on driving down the day before embarkation. Here's some info on some area hotels i got from expedia....


Country Inn & Suites, Cape Canaveral, $129 per night, Free shuttle & Parking for cruise. graded 4.4 out of 5 by travelers

Radisson at the Port, Cape Canaveral, $116 per night, Free Shuttle & parking for the cruise. Graded 4.4 out of 5 by travelers

La Quinta Inn, Cocoa Beach, $94 per night, Free shuttle & parking for the cruise. Graded 4 out of 5 by travelers.

I just made our hotel reservations for the Hyatt at the airport for $108.00. I just find staying at the Hyatt is so convenient. Although, this time we bypass the check-in counter and went straight to the bus when we were ready to leave. If you wait for the staff at the Hyatt, you could be on the 3rd or 4th bus out of there.

Now, to start some prelimenary flight costs and times.

I haven't been on a while busy getting ready for this year cruise we leave on Thursday, can't wait -- then I can start planning for next year. Hope to have some great pictures to share with everyone.

Janet and I are driving next year and have two nights at the Country Inn and Suites. But if we were flying we would most definetly be staying at the MCO Hyatt. Lois
