Got my flights booked tonight :cool1: Now just have to wait 2 weeks and get the MNSSHP.

Sarah had a blast at Grad Night DL. She rode her first roller coaster CA Screamin and wound up in the front car. She said it was a lot of fun. She said she got a front of the line pass due to her disability. I never thought about asking for that as I don't like using her disability as an excuse to get privileges. I should have though, because come to think of it by day 2 or 3 she starts shutting down due to all the crowds. I think we may try it @ WDW this year.

Congrats on the flights!:thumbsup2 A friend of mine suggested I get a pass for my DS- Luke, he has a disability as well but I hear what your saying about using it as an excuse. It's not hugely apparent but like you said I can see Luke having a difficult time after a few days. The last time we were at WDW he was in a stroller.

We get a GAC for Kendall every time we go to Disneyland (and WDW--& we got one @ Tokyo Disney Resort as well). They are a real help when we visit the parks. :)
We couldn't see or ride nearly as many things without the pass--and by mid day Kendall would be done for the day. That makes it hard for the whole family.
So, I--for one--and very grateful that Disney has these for families who have people with special needs in them.
It's really not a privilege--as it is more an accommodation/assistance to help people who need that time/assistance to enter attractions.
According to every Cast Member I have spoken with at all the parks--they feel very proud that they can help people when they need this assistance.

And it's good to hear Sarah had a great time with her Grad night! :)

Where do you guys fly out from to go to Orlando? Sacramento??

thank you. Sarah is one of those kids that doesn't have the visual disability and honestly she didn't know about that disability until high school when she asked us why she couldn't have 6 classes like the other kids. She also knows that unless it is an absolute that she can't do something due to her disability, she isn't allowed to use it as an excuse not to do something. Like I said she does fine the first day or two then she gets tired and overwhelmed by all the crowds and starts withdrawing, but has gotten much better as she has grown. (Actually on the cruise I ususally ask for our own table, but since we know everyone this time around we won't have to put in that request :) ) So I will try and get her a pass this year and see how works.
We do fly out of Sac, it's easier to get to. In March I flew out of SFO on Virgin America on a great deal and loved it. It was a non stop flight, but they also charge for bags. Since we'll be gone for 2 weeks we will be flying Southwest so we can take more than one bag (we're thinking we may have 4 or 5 total for the 3 of us). I can't believe the prices of flights, we paid double than when we went in 2007!

Princess Heather...:flower3: Donnie Osmond was on Piers Morgan show last night. (his sister looked good :cloud9:)
