I'm doing the jump for joy dance.

With airfares being so extremely high--I just worried over the extra costs of us getting down to Florida for the cruise. Last year, when booking for our WDW trip (National Down syndrome Confrence was held at WDW in July)--I lucked out on an odd ball day when Delta lowered their fares for a day.

Well, luck would have it--I logged in and hit that day again today.

Airfare for 3 from San Francisco to Orlando in October. $148--RT per person (W/ taxes it came to $210 pp) . Yowza!!!! :cheer2::yay:

With airfares through the roof right now, I'm a very happy cruiser!! Now if our Orange County friends can get a flight out of John Wayne or LAX for this amazing price....!!!

Now--we just have to choose which Disney Resort to park our heads/bodies for a few nights before we get onto the ship....

Well done - great prices. Wish we could get flights from the UK for that kind of price ;)

I don't think it was an oops price.

Right after I booked it--I got two 'email alerts' from Travelocity and Priceline (you can sign up for these via travel sites)---alerting me to 60% price drops. I had already seen the prices when I had gotten to work and logged in. But Travelocity mentioned that they hadn't seen prices this low out of SFO in 6 months.

I happened to get lucky I guess. But, I got lucky two years in a row, because I got this great price last year as well. Well---I think this year actually beat last years (I think I paid $152 RT).

My friends in So Cal didn't see these prices though. Perhaps Delta only gives out a deal one airport at a time??? :confused3

For me. Pure luck yesterday morning. But, it means we might be able to stay at a Deluxe Resort now vs a Moderate.

If you haven't booked your flights---just keep checking every morning---. That's what I kept doing.

Us, too, since we'll have other family along.

Did you see that thread that says the Radisson isn't offering free parking/shuttle with every reservation anymore? It has to be a park-n-cruise package? That might send us to a different hotel next time.

We are next door at the Country Inn & Suites due to our party size(6).I will make a phone call to find out- when I booked they said the shuttles were free! I will post a reply after I talk to them.

oops on their part, meaning their system had a screw up and posted very low prices. I'm really happy for you. If I could have booked that price it would have been worth the trip to SFO. Virgin has great prices, but you also have to pay for luggage and I'm not sure how much we'll have being gone 2 weeks. Virgin also has a non stop to MCO, which was awesome!

Good day to you cruisers and cruisettes pirate:

We have only 169 more days and only

To all US Mom's

Happy Mother's Day.

I know this isn't our ship or cruise but I thought I would share this. I love this view of the Wonder, docked in Vancouver, taken from the 533 ft. Vancouver Lookout:
