10/17- DISERS DO MNSSHP List

Hi Laurenk, Last minute trips are sometimes the best! If you can, meet us for a 'Diser's do splash'.

From reading these boards, when you call for PS, be sure to tell them you are going to MNSSHP and they might take have a PS. Friend and I and kids will be at Crystal Palace. That's a character buffet.

I really don't know where to say to meet for the 2nd parade. I am hoping it won't be too crowded. Anyone have suggestions? I don't want to give up an hour of touring to stake out places like at the train station deck. Maybe somewhere on Main? Up by the Ice Cream/Fountain shop?

Hey, our party is approaching! DH and I will be in Homemeade Mr. and Mrs. Incredible costumes w/ 4 parents and 3 kids in tow.

Ok everyone...we went to Party City tonight...and we got our costumes... DH will be a pirate and I will be his "wench" (How original, I know...

We look totally doofy...but it's all in fun. If you see 2 goofy pirates and wench, that be us...please stop us, feel free to laugh in our face ...ok, don't laugh too loud, but do stop by and say HI. MIL and SIL will be cowgirls and FIL will be a surgeon.

Do you think those costumes will be ok?

Queenie, I know you said I could post photos on your site but I've been digital deprived till recently and afraid all I know how to do right now is send a photo in an E mail!

We'll be there as Velma & Shaggy - LTT @ 6:05.

I'm hoping my cousins are able to get costumes for Fred & Daphne.

The forecast is looking good for us, guys - it's actually supposed to cool off later this week!! Friday is supposed to be (approx) High 79 and Low 62 (in Tampa) - and no chance of rain.

We had to cancel reservations for both Frances and Jeanne - so we're looking for a good weekend!

MSMOUSE: Thanks! I do agree, the scrubs will be SOOO comfortable for my FIL, we MIGHT have to get him a wheelchair though, depends on how he's feeling...he has bad astma (sp?) and can't walk very far/fast. DH said if we do get a wheelchair for him, he'll be the patient instead of the sergeon...


SHARON: no biggie on the pics...whichever is easier for ya...I can't wait to see them though...like I said, we most likely won't be able to make it to the 8:00 Splash Mt. meet (LTT 6:55 PS)

Did we decide when and where we'd meet for the 10:00 PM parade? Or are we all still doing that?

Almost THERE! I really have to pack or something. Have just tonight and tomorrow to get that done.

Queenie, No firm parade meeting place set. Will try to look for you around the park if can decide on where we'll try to be. Or look for us. DD10 and I will probably be in Nightmare before Christmas shirts. And dd wants one of those 'sandy claws' hats (Santa hat and beard) We'll see. Or if you can make it over to Splash and look for us after the ride.

I finally started packing. Got all the clothes and shoes and my bag of misc "just in case" stuff. Also weighed the bags since the weight limit has decreased to 50 pounds and the bags themself aren't light since they're kinda big. Only a few things left, so I feel much better. Last time we packed those bags really full, and went over the 70 pound weight limit. Packing much lighter this trip. We hate to take the time to do laundry, so we'll need enough for 8 days and a couple of night out. Still have to pack costumes, too.

Hightown... how's your packing going?

Kelli, I did finally start packing last night! Have tonight to finish up. I have to work Wednesday and it will be a short day, pick DD up at school, grab bags and go to airport. Since it's just 5 nights, trying to pack very light. With 8 trips to the world in 5 years, I can pack pretty fast.

Queenie, I saw on another thread that someone mentioned a good parade spot as being across from LTT on the stone fence. Might try to get to that point for the parade. Will also look for you. How many Wenches could there be!

See everyone who can at the meet and if anyone interested in watching 2nd parade, think we'll try to be across from LTT!

I'm getting so excited!!!
We will post our pics probably on Shutterfly or Ofoto and people can upload their pics there as well. I'll make a separate album for MNSSHP - see, I know how to spell it now - and people can see/order pics. If anyone has an OFoto vs. Shutterfly preference, let me know. Makes no difference to me.

We will try to make the Splash meet but if not we'll be at the stone wall for the second parade. Again, we'll be in bright lime green shirts that say DH and DW on the back. Can't wait!
