When we got up this morning we could see the island in the distance from our verandah. It wasn't long until there was land! We got a good view of Atlantis and stood out on the verandah as the ship was turing around to dock. It was very impressive to watch the ship turn around it what did not look like a very big area. We had a quick breakfast at Beach Blanket then headed down stairs to the gangway. We were one of the first ones there and saw prymsu and her friend Pat.
We got a taxi driver at the port and walked to the taxi to ake us the Atlantis. We had gotten a room at Comfort Suites to use for the day. When we got to Comfort Suites we were able to check in and go to the room right away. We put our lunch and drinks in the frig. and headed off to Atlantis. As we were heading out of CS we met another couple walking to Atlantis. They had been there a couple of days so they showed us a short cut to get to the water areas. We first went down the Mayan Temple slide with the tubes where you float through the shark tank. DD was a little scared in this one. We then did a couple of the other slides then back to the big Mayan Temple slide. We didn't tell DD that this one went through the sharks until it was all over.
We swam in the pool a little then started to wind our way back to the room. We stopped at the various pools along the way and enjoyed the lazy river. We went to the room and had the lunch we had packed from room service. Took showers and cleaned up before heading over to The Dig. We enjoyed this part but was expecting a little more. DD had a great time but me and DH were expecting it to be longer.
After The Dig we went back to town and walked around a little. We then went back to the ship so DD could go to the lab for a while. That evening was the Tropical Sailaway Party and Animators Palate. We dressed in our Tropical outfits and headed to dinner. After dinner we enjoyed the Sailaway Party. The girls (our DD & MickeyMagic's DD) had a blast dancing. It was then time for bed, a good nights rest for Castaway Cay!
