MouseinMelbourne, I think you may have mentioned the peanut allergy in an earlier post 'cause the FE list I first made for myself has a big red note to remember there is a peanut allergy. But thank you for the info "anything by the Tootsie company, dum dums, or anything from Wonka - we're good" since my church's kids program frequently asks for snack donations and I never knew what was safe to get and always ended up with the goldfish cracker snack bags which is safe but boring.

Anyone else out there in our group that have cabin assignments to add? We have completed our gifts and only have been able to mark a few with cabin numbers. I realize some may change before or at boarding but I would like to have something on all the gifts before we leave. We have different items included depending on if there are children and what ages are in each cabin.

I am wondering what everyone's plans are for the FE gifts. We have something to give to the "cabin" and are coming up with something extra for each kid. Is that OK? Also, do you "sign" your FE gift with who it is from? Or is it more like a Secret Santa thing?

We are doing the same thing, cabin gift and kids stuff. I did put tags saying who it was from using my board name.

We are giving a few of the same things to each cabin and then some specific things for the kids depending on the ages. Just small things. DD has decided to put a drawing and a little note in each bag and has signed it so no mystery there where the gift came from. I like the idea that there are really no rules.

Has anyone ever sailed DCL this time of year before? Is this normal? I swear it looks like the ship will be half empty. The fact that all CAT's are still available speaks volumes. But when I go in and look at rooms available, there are tons within each category.

I'm beginning to think the only ones on board with be our 18 DIS families.

It is Clayton and Rachel. What I had before is wrong - blame my MS brain fog which causes me major language trouble, particularly spelling and missing whole words in my posts. Stuff gets lost between my head and my keyboard.

Hi again all! I have been checking updates weekly but not doing much posting.

I can hardly believe that we have such a short time before we go! Wow! Between getting the kids off to school this year - it has been an exhausting month. I am so excited for our time away.

I also was working on the FE stuff today. I also am only doing one gift per cabin and then a few little things for the kids. At least that is the plan so far.

We have made Palo reservations after we boarded before. I would think that if the ship is actually going to be a bit empty like thought that a Palo ressie would not be hard to come by.

Has the FE list been emailed out to everyone or posted somewhere? I'm working on putting stuff together for the FEs and haven't gotten that list yet.
