Does your TA work for an agency? If yes, you could the agency, demand to speak to the boss agent and get them to get you what you want.

Yes, she does. But (if you can believe this) it is a Disney only TA and they shut down for this week so that ALL of them can come to WDW for the Ultimate Field Trip (it's a trip they organize for homeschoolers around the country). The TA's also do training while they are here.

I've shot her a ton of emails and I hope she'll take pity on me and do something while she's on the cruise. She posts DoD pics on Facebook, so I know she's online.

The worse part is the day my TA returns, I leave for WDW for 3 days and won't have email (her method of contact).

Wow, I cannot imagine shutting done an entire travel agency for a week. If it was my business I would insist that all the agents check their email twice a day to deal with emergencies but long ago I came to realize that I do not rule the world and cannot get things done my way all the time or even most of the time.

GratefulParrot, if you private message me an email address I will forward you the diagram I made, it is on a single page with the 2, 5, 6, 7 and 8th decks areas the cabins are in. I just grabbed the plans from Travelocity, copied them into my 2001 PictureIt program and played around with the sizing.

I love this old, old program and hate it that Microsoft has stopped supporting it so it does not run on the two most recent versions of their processing systems. If this old computer ever dies, and it will someday, then I will be on the hunt for new program. Oh course, I did get almost 10 years use but I also have a car with 210,000 miles on it, so I am all about making stuff last.

Hi all!

Looks like we're going to be "Squeekers". We're booking this today with Florida Resident rates. This will be our 5th cruise on the Wonder. We're booking a Cat 6. Looks like we'll have friends in line for Palo on the boat, we'll see what we get- would love brunch and dinner on pirate night. We've had good luck in the past!

Also looking forward to a couple nice evenings in Cadillac's.

Would love to join FE group if still available.

I've been checking the DCL discount page daily and the 10/17 date hasn't popped up on there. Is it really available?!?! Of course, my TA is actually ON a DCL cruise right now and is unavailable.

Always look for a cruise with FLR as the rate code. There's alot that they don't always put on the discount page.

We went early October last year and got a flyer in the mail from DCL about Halloween activities. Trick or treating on the boat, adult costume contest, Halloween themed gift baskets....has anyone gotten anything about that for this year? We did the Halloween costume contest last year and won a Castaway Club clock.....just wondering if I needed to look for costume stuff for this year.

I found out on Friday that I won a DCL TA contest!! I won a 2 night sailing on the DREAM before the inaguaral cruise!!! It is the Christening cruise on Jan 19-21. I am so excited and everyone I tell just says "2 nights isn't very long".....not the response I was looking for!!! Anyway, I figured if anyone would understand it would be my DIS friends!!!

If not for you, oh wonderful TheBeadPirate, I would still be looking at sailing in a Cat 10 room....(not like that would be a bad thing). BUT.....drumroll please.....I was able to hook up with my MIA TA before we left for AKL/WDW and UPGRADED TO A CAT4 for just $41!!!!!!!

You are my hero, TheBeadPirate!!!

Lornak ~ could you please update our FE room number to 8026? We are smack dab in the middle of all the upper crust. My DD is already asking if we can ring their doorbell. She received an emphatic NO! of course, but she may make them a special magnet just to be nice.

And, one of our favorite bartenders (Jelena) will be on this cruise. She just got back from vacation and will be on the Wonder until she heads to get the Dream in Dec. Last cruise she was in Cadillac's.
