Am looking forward to karoake on the next cruise -- Andy and Marianne were great! The tipsy lady was something else!
Fiona
you mean "Dancing Queen"?!?
Cathy: Nope, we weren't with you guys at Pineapple Beach but I heard all about the eye popping experience (maybe Papa needs to change his name to Poppa)
And we never did get to see that turtle photo...but I'm sure I can imagine it!
Eric: I hope you're feeling better after the procedure....does not sound like fun.
Rosemary: Congrats on making it to 30 years! We'll treat you to a drink at the
Castaway Club party!
I had such a bad golf game yesterday I wanted to cry. Mind you, I'm still not allowed to play a real game, but my shots are so horrendous, I feel bad for the team I get to "scramble" with. I spoke with the ladies' club director yesterday about taking more lessons and he wants to place me into Novice 1........AGAIN! I think this makes 6 times I'll be doing Novice 1! Even the time I finally graduated to Novice 2, I ended up getting demoted back to N1 after one week. Nobody wants to validate this, but I seriously think my "girls" (as Oprah calls them) make it impossible for me to ever play golf! But I refuse to give up....I will either suceed at this or it will kill me. Come to think of it, my golf is even worse than Dancing Queen's singing![/QUOTE]
Jeanne,
thanks for asking. I'm OK, but have to be careful as I have temporary crowns for two weeks now: No gum, no gummibears, etc. My cheek and the area arround the teeth he worked on are still a bit sore, but I guess this will be OK before your handicap is in the single-digit range
My advice would be to take a rest from playing golf, just some weeks to relax, to get your head free, and then try it again. A coworker of mine always says that one good hit (Which will surely come sooner or later) is worth all the frustration and training he has to go through.
